Escalating theories The hypotheses suggesting that Epstein was "eliminated" to prevent the exposure of the names of powerful global figures and prominent officials linked to his controversial network are increasing. Ghislaine Maxwell, his accomplice in the crimes, has previously expressed her belief that Epstein did not commit suicide. The official narrative Although the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice reviewed the case last year and concluded – as in the 2023 investigation – that Epstein committed suicide, Mark Epstein remains steadfast in his position.
