رد الموسيقار اللبناني أسامة الرحباني على الجدل المثار بشأن غياب الفنانين عن حضور عزاء الراحل هلي الرحباني، نجل الفنانة اللبنانية فيروز، معبراً عن حزنه العميق لذلك.
وأكد أسامة في تصريحات تلفزيونية أن ما أحزنه ليس حضور أحد بعينه أو غيابه، بل أن البعض يركز على الاهتمام بالأضواء والتصوير بدل احترام قيمة الإنسان ذاته، معلقاً: «حصلت مشاهد في العزاء عيب تحصل».
الشعور بالأسى تجاه الموقف
وأوضح الرحباني أن الموت حق على الجميع، وأن كل شخص يواجهه في نهاية المطاف، وهو ما جعله يشعر بأسى تجاه الموقف، قائلاً: «الموت علينا حق وكلنا بنشرب من كأس المر».
تقديم واجب العزاء رغم الخلافات
كما قدم أسامة الرحباني واجب العزاء في وفاة هلي الرحباني، وحرص على مواساة فيروز وابنتها ريما رغم الخلافات الأسرية السابقة، مؤكداً دعمه لهما بعد فقدانهما لشقيقي ريما خلال 6 أشهر.

وكان من الملفت، في عزاء هلي الرحباني الذي أقيم السبت الماضي، غياب عدد كبير من نجوم الفن، واقتصر العزاء على حضور الأسرة والشخصيات السياسية والفنية والرسمية، في ظل أجواء حزينة سيطرت على محبي فيروز وعائلة الرحباني.
