أعلن مجلس الضمان الصحي صدور 180 قراراً يقضي بفرض جزاءات على أصحاب العمل خلال الربع الرابع من العام 2025، نتيجة مخالفة أحكام نظام الضمان الصحي. وأوضح المجلس أن إجمالي الغرامات المترتبة على أصحاب العمل بلغ 6,186,562.49 ريال، وذلك بعد التنبيه عليهم بتصحيح أوضاعهم وفق أحكام نظام الضمان الصحي، استناداً إلى المادة 14 التي تنص على أنه في حال لم يلتزم صاحب العمل بسداد الأقساط المستحقة عن العاملين لديه وأسرهم المشمولين بالنظام، فإنه يلزم بسدادها، إضافة إلى غرامة مالية لا تتجاوز قيمة الاشتراك السنوي لكل فرد، مع إمكانية منع المخالفين من استقدام العمالة مؤقتاً أو دائماً.
وأكدت المتحدثة باسم مجلس الضمان الصحي إيمان الطريقي، أن مجلس الضمان الصحي يتخذ إجراءات صارمة لتطبيق الأنظمة واللوائح كونه الجهة المعنية بتطبيق إلزامية التغطية الصحية على أصحاب العمل، بما يضمن استمرارية تقديم الرعاية الصحية للمستفيدين دون انقطاع.
وأضافت: «يسعى المجلس إلى تسهيل وصول المستفيدين إلى خدمات صحية عالية الجودة والكفاءة، وتمكين أصحاب العمل وتطوير قدرتهم على توفير التغطية الصحية، مع مواصلة متابعة الالتزام، ورصد المخالفات، وتطبيق الأنظمة بحق المنشآت غير الممتثلة بتوفير التغطية الصحية الإلزامية للعاملين لديهم وأسرهم المشمولين بالنظام».

The Council clarified that the total fines imposed on employers amounted to 6,186,562.49 riyals, after warning them to correct their situations in accordance with the provisions of the Health Insurance System, based on Article 14, which states that if an employer fails to pay the due premiums for their employees and their families covered by the system, they are required to pay them, in addition to a financial penalty not exceeding the annual subscription value for each individual, with the possibility of temporarily or permanently preventing violators from recruiting labor.
The spokesperson for the Health Insurance Council, Iman Al-Turaiki, confirmed that the Health Insurance Council is taking strict measures to implement the regulations and rules, as it is the authority responsible for enforcing mandatory health coverage for employers, ensuring the continuity of healthcare services for beneficiaries without interruption.
She added: "The Council aims to facilitate beneficiaries' access to high-quality and efficient healthcare services, empower employers, and enhance their ability to provide health coverage, while continuing to monitor compliance, track violations, and enforce regulations against establishments that do not comply with providing mandatory health coverage for their employees and their families covered by the system."
