Students from Jeddah Educational Schools achieved a national scientific accomplishment by winning 23 major and special awards (local and international) at the conclusion of the 16th edition of the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity "Ibda'a 2026," organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba" in partnership with the Ministry of Education. In this context, a reception ceremony was held for the winning students upon their arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, attended by the Assistant Director General of Jeddah Education and several educational leaders and parents. The students were welcomed with bouquets of flowers and congratulations, celebrating their remarkable scientific achievements and preparing for their upcoming participation in the International Science and Engineering Fair "ISEF 2026" and other international competitions. For her part, the Director General of Education in Jeddah Governorate, Manal Al-Luhaibi, congratulated the winning students, their families, and their teachers, affirming that this achievement reflects the level of excellence reached by the students of Jeddah Education. She added: We take pride in what our sons and daughters have achieved in this commendable scientific accomplishment, which confirms their ability to compete globally and represent the Kingdom in the largest scientific forums, embodying the fruits of the support education receives from the wise leadership and the integration of efforts between schools, families, and educational entities. Al-Luhaibi expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the teachers, school administrations, and supervisors, valuing the efforts of the Talent Development Administration – Gifted Department in following up and qualifying the students, expressing her hope for the continuation of the excellence journey and raising the flag of the nation high in international forums during the upcoming phase.
