في وقت تتسارع فيه التحولات الجيوسياسية والاقتصادية، ويزداد تصدّع النظام العالمي على حساب الإنسان والمجتمع، حذر رئيس الغرفة الإسلامية للتجارة والتنمية عضو مجلس إدارة اتحاد الغرف السعودية عبدالله صالح كامل، من أن الاقتصاد الحديث يواجه أزمة أخلاقية هيكلية، تتطلب إعادة التفكير في نموذج ينقل القيم إلى صميم القرارات الاقتصادية. وأكد عبد الله كامل، خلال كلمته في الجلسة الافتتاحية لقمة إندونيسيا الاقتصادية 2026، أن العالم يقف اليوم عند مفترق طرق اقتصادي وأخلاقي حاسم. وقال إن النظام الاقتصادي العالمي الحالي يشهد تآكلاً متزايدًا في الضوابط، وسيطرة منطق القوة والمصالح الضيقة على حساب القيم الإنسانية والتنموية. وأشار كامل إلى أن التحولات الجيوسياسية والاقتصادية المتسارعة كشفت هشاشة النموذج الاقتصادي القائم، الذي فشل في تحقيق تنمية مستدامة أو توزيع عادل للفرص، نتيجة الفصل بين الاقتصاد ومنظومة القيم الأساسية. وأضاف أن الخطاب الاقتصادي السائد في المحافل الدولية لم يعد يبث الطمأنينة، بل يعكس واقعًا أكثر قسوة، يقوم على تعظيم الأرباح وإهمال الإنسان والمجتمع والبيئة. وأكد أن المرحلة الراهنة تفرض على قادة الأعمال في دول الجنوب العالمي والدول النامية مسؤولية مضاعفة، تتمثل في انتهاج موقف استباقي لبناء نموذج اقتصادي جديد قائم على الحقوق والواجبات، وليس على معادلات الربح والخسارة قصيرة المدى. وأوضح أن الاقتصاد لا يمكن أن يكون مستدامًا دون مرجعية أخلاقية واضحة، مشددًا على أن الاستثمار والتجارة والتمويل يجب أن تُدار كأدوات لخدمة المجتمعات، وليس على حساب البيئة أو الثقة الاجتماعية. كما شدد على أن العالم الإسلامي يمتلك إرثًا حضاريًا غنيًا بالقيم الأخلاقية التي مكنته تاريخيًا من المساهمة في بناء نماذج اقتصادية وإنسانية متقدمة، مؤكّدًا أن الفرصة ما تزال قائمة لاستعادة هذا الدور والمشاركة الفاعلة في صياغة مستقبل الاقتصاد العالمي قبل مزيد من الاضطراب. وتطرق كامل إلى الدور المحوري للقطاع الخاص، مشيرًا إلى قدرته على قيادة مسارات التنمية بالشراكة مع القطاع العام، إذا ما توفرت الإرادة السياسية والأطر التشريعية الداعمة والبنية المؤسسية القادرة على تحويل الرؤى إلى واقع ملموس. وأشاد بالإصلاحات الاقتصادية التي تشهدها دول عدة، وعلى رأسها المملكة العربية السعودية، مشيرًا إلى أن رؤية 2030 قدمت نموذجًا عمليًا لإعادة صياغة العلاقة بين الدولة والاقتصاد، وتمكين القطاع الخاص كشريك تنموي فاعل، من خلال إصلاحات تشريعية واستثمارات نوعية في البنية التحتية والتحول الرقمي. واختتم بالقول إن قمة إندونيسيا الاقتصادية 2026 تأتي في توقيت دولي حساس، لتؤكد أهمية بناء منصات حوار تجمع صُنّاع القرار والقطاع الخاص ومراكز الفكر، بهدف إعادة صياغة نماذج النمو، وتعزيز الشراكات العابرة للحدود، وربط السياسات العامة بواقع الأسواق، وتأكيد الدور القيادي للقطاع الخاص في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة. At a time when geopolitical and economic transformations are accelerating, and the global system is increasingly fracturing at the expense of humanity and society, Abdullah Saleh Kamel, President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development and a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Chambers Federation, warned that the modern economy is facing a structural ethical crisis that requires rethinking a model that brings values to the core of economic decisions. Abdullah Kamel emphasized, during his speech at the opening session of the Indonesia Economic Summit 2026, that the world stands today at a critical economic and ethical crossroads. He stated that the current global economic system is witnessing an increasing erosion of controls, with the logic of power and narrow interests dominating at the expense of human and developmental values. Kamel pointed out that the rapid geopolitical and economic transformations have revealed the fragility of the existing economic model, which has failed to achieve sustainable development or equitable distribution of opportunities, due to the separation between the economy and the core value system. He added that the prevailing economic discourse in international forums no longer instills confidence but reflects a harsher reality, based on maximizing profits while neglecting humanity, society, and the environment. He affirmed that the current phase imposes on business leaders in the Global South and developing countries a doubled responsibility, which consists of adopting a proactive stance to build a new economic model based on rights and duties, rather than on short-term profit and loss equations. He clarified that the economy cannot be sustainable without a clear ethical reference, stressing that investment, trade, and finance should be managed as tools to serve communities, not at the expense of the environment or social trust. He also emphasized that the Islamic world possesses a rich civilizational heritage of ethical values that historically enabled it to contribute to building advanced economic and humanitarian models, asserting that the opportunity still exists to restore this role and actively participate in shaping the future of the global economy before further turmoil ensues. Kamel touched on the pivotal role of the private sector, pointing to its ability to lead development pathways in partnership with the public sector, provided that there is political will, supportive legislative frameworks, and institutional capacity to turn visions into tangible reality. He praised the economic reforms being witnessed in several countries, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that Vision 2030 has presented a practical model for reshaping the relationship between the state and the economy, empowering the private sector as an effective development partner through legislative reforms and quality investments in infrastructure and digital transformation. He concluded by stating that the Indonesia Economic Summit 2026 comes at a sensitive international timing, emphasizing the importance of building dialogue platforms that bring together decision-makers, the private sector, and think tanks, with the aim of reshaping growth models, enhancing cross-border partnerships, linking public policies to market realities, and affirming the leadership role of the private sector in achieving sustainable development.
