فيما أختتمت قبل ساعات جولة المفاوضات بين إيران وأمريكا في مسقط، أكد وزير الخارجية السعودي، الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، اليوم (الجمعة)، أن نجاح المفاوضات بين أمريكا وإيران سيجعل المنطقة أكثر أمناً. وأعرب الأمير فيصل بن فرحان عن دعم الرياض للمباحثات الجارية بشأن إيران، لافتاً إلى أن الجميع يريد إنجاحها. تفتيش المفاعلات النووية الإيرانية من جهة أخرى، أعلن المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، رافائيل غروسي، استعداد الوكالة الدائم لإرسال مفتشيها إلى إيران لتفتيش المنشآت النووية. وقال غروسي في مقابلة مع قناة «روسيا 24»: «بالطبع، هم دائماً مستعدون للذهاب إلى هناك»، موضحاً أن موقف الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية بشأن إيران هو إعادة الأطراف إلى طاولة المفاوضات والتوصل إلى اتفاق يسمح بالعودة الكاملة لمفتشي الوكالة إلى إيران، واضاف: «نحن بحاجة للخروج من المأزق الذي وجدنا أنفسنا فيه بعد حرب الأيام الاثن عشر في يونيو الماضي، عندما يعلم الجميع أن هناك شيئاً ما، لكنهم لا يستطيعون فعل أي شيء حيال ذلك». وأشار غروسي إلى أن الولايات المتحدة لا ترغب في رؤية أي نشاط نووي في إيران، وهو ما يتعارض مع موقف طهران، مبيناً أن مفتشي الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية ضروريون تحديدًا لمثل هذه الحالات، لمراقبة الالتزام بالاتفاقيات المبرمة؛ وإلا، فهناك خطر تجدد الصراع. إصلاح طهران لمنشآت الصواريخ الباليستية وأظهر تحليل أجرته صحيفة «نيويورك تايمز» الأمريكية لصور الأقمار الاصطناعية أن إيران تمكنت، وبسرعة، من إصلاح العديد من منشآت الصواريخ الباليستية التي تضررت في ضربات جوية العام الماضي. وأشارت إلى أن جهودها اقتصرت على إجراء إصلاحات محدودة في المواقع النووية الرئيسية التي استهدفتها إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة. وعقد الجانبان، الأمريكي والإيراني، اجتماعات في سلطنة عمان اليوم (الجمعة) في محاولة لتجنب اندلاع صراع آخر، رغم تلويح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب باللجوء إلى العملية العسكرية. He added: "We need to get out of the deadlock we found ourselves in after the twelve-day war last June, when everyone knows that something is happening, but they cannot do anything about it." Grossi pointed out that the United States does not want to see any nuclear activity in Iran, which contradicts Tehran's position, indicating that the International Atomic Energy Agency's inspectors are essential specifically for such cases, to monitor compliance with the agreements made; otherwise, there is a risk of renewed conflict. Tehran's Repair of Ballistic Missile Facilities An analysis conducted by the American newspaper "The New York Times" of satellite images showed that Iran has quickly repaired many of the ballistic missile facilities that were damaged in airstrikes last year. It noted that its efforts were limited to making minor repairs at the main nuclear sites targeted by Israel and the United States.
