أعلن نادي أرسنال الإنجليزي تجديد عقد لاعبه بوكايو ساكا حتى صيف 2031، في خطوة تبرهن حرص إدارة النادي على الاحتفاظ بأبرز مواهب الفريق منذ انضمامه لأكاديمية هيل إند عام 2014. ويُعد ساكا أحد الركائز الرئيسية فى تشكيلة المدرب الإسبانى ميكيل أرتيتا، إذ ينظر إليه داخل النادى باعتباره لاعبًا مهماً، نظرًا لتطور مستواه المستمر وتأثيره الحاسم فى المباريات الكبرى. ووفق التفاصيل الرسمية، يمتد العقد الجديد لمدة 5 سنوات، ويعد ساكا اللاعب الأعلى أجرًا في تشكيلة الجانرز براتب أسبوعي يزيد عن 300 ألف جنيه إسترليني، وكان العقد السابق للنجم الإنجليزى يمتد حتى صيف 2027، لكن إدارة أرسنال فضّلت تأمين مستقبل اللاعب بعقد طويل الأمد، ليواصل قيادة الجبهة اليمنى للجانرز خلال السنوات القادمة. ويعتبر ساكا أحد الأعمدة الرئيسية في الفريق الأول منذ ظهوره عام 2018، حيث خاض حوالي 296 مباراة، سجل خلالها 77 هدفًا وصنع 78 تمريرة حاسمة في جميع المسابقات.
