انخفضت أسعار الذهب من أعلى مستوى في ثلاثة أسابيع اليوم (الثلاثاء)، متأثرة بارتفاع الدولار رغم استمرار الضبابية بشأن الرسوم الجمركية الأمريكية والتوترات الجيوسياسية. وهبط الذهب في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة (1.5%) إلى (5150.38) دولار للأوقية، فيما تراجعت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة تسليم أبريل بنسبة (1.1%) إلى (5170.70) دولار. وجاء التراجع مع صعود الدولار، مما زاد كلفة الذهب على حائزي العملات الأخرى، وسط ترقب لبيانات سوق العمل الأمريكية وتوقعات بخفض أسعار الفائدة بمقدار (25) نقطة أساس لثلاث مرات خلال العام. كما انعكس على أداء المعادن النفيسة، حيث هبطت الفضة بنسبة (3.1%) إلى (85.50) دولار، وتراجع البلاتين بنسبة (2.9%) إلى (2092.31) دولار، ونزل البلاديوم بنسبة (2.1%) إلى (1706.50) دولار للأوقية. Gold prices fell from a three-week high today (Tuesday), affected by the rise of the dollar despite ongoing uncertainty regarding U.S. tariffs and geopolitical tensions. Gold dropped in spot transactions by (1.5%) to (5150.38) dollars per ounce, while U.S. futures contracts for April delivery fell by (1.1%) to (5170.70) dollars. The decline came as the dollar strengthened, increasing the cost of gold for holders of other currencies, amid anticipation of U.S. labor market data and expectations of a (25) basis point rate cut three times during the year. The performance of precious metals was also affected, with silver falling by (3.1%) to (85.50) dollars, platinum declining by (2.9%) to (2092.31) dollars, and palladium decreasing by (2.1%) to (1706.50) dollars per ounce.
