أعلنت الإمارات، اليوم (الأحد)، إغلاق سفارتها في طهران، وسحب سفيرها من إيران وكافة أعضاء بعثتها الدبلوماسية.

وقالت وزارة الخارجية الإماراتية إن القرار يأتي على خلفية الاعتداءات الصاروخية الإيرانية السافرة التي استهدفت أراضي الدولة، والتي تُعد هجمات عدوانية طالت مواقع مدنية، بما في ذلك مناطق سكنية ومطارات وموانئ ومنشآت خدمية، وعرّضت مدنيين عُزل للخطر، في تصعيدٍ خطيرٍ وغير مسؤول يُعدّ انتهاكاً صارخاً للسيادة الوطنية، ومخالفةً واضحةً للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.

وأكّدت وزارة الخارجية أنّ «هذا القرار يأتي تجسيداً لموقف الدولة الثابت والحازم في رفض أي اعتداء يمسّ أمنها وسيادتها، وفي ظلّ استمرار النهج العدواني والاستفزازي الذي يُقوّض فرص التهدئة، ويدفع المنطقة نحو مسارات بالغة الخطورة، بما يُهدد الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي، وأمن الطاقة، واستقرار الاقتصاد العالمي».

The UAE announced today (Sunday) the closure of its embassy in Tehran and the withdrawal of its ambassador from Iran along with all members of its diplomatic mission.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the decision comes in light of the blatant Iranian missile attacks targeting the territory of the state, which are considered aggressive assaults on civilian sites, including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities, endangering unarmed civilians. This represents a serious and irresponsible escalation that constitutes a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a clear breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that "this decision embodies the state's firm and steadfast position in rejecting any aggression that affects its security and sovereignty, especially in light of the continued aggressive and provocative approach that undermines opportunities for de-escalation and pushes the region towards extremely dangerous paths, threatening regional and international security, energy security, and the stability of the global economy."
