بعد نحو 48 ساعة من تعيينه إثر مقتل سلفه عزيز نصير زاده بغارات إسرائيلية على العاصمة طهران، أعلنت مصادر إيرانية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، مقتل وزير الدفاع الإيراني الجديد مجيد ابن الرضا، بحسب ما نقلت وسائل إعلام مقربة من الحرس الثوري، فيما أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي أنه استهدف قائداً إيرانياً بارزاً في طهران خلال قصف مكثف على طهران. وكان الجيش الإسرائيلي قد أفاد في وقت سابق بأنه استهدف المناطق الأكثر تحصيناً في العاصمة طهران. وجدد الجيش الإسرائيلي التشديد على أنه مستعد للاستمرار في العمليات ضد إيران لأسابيع. وأكد أنه وجه ضربات قوية للنظام الإيراني. وأوضح المتحدث باسم الجيش إيفي ديفرين، أن القوات الإسرائيلية استهدفت أعلى هيئة في النظام الإيراني. من جانبه، حذّر الحرس الثوري الإيراني اليوم، من أنه سيشن هجمات أشدّ على الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل. وقال المتحدث باسمه علي محمد نائيني، في تصريحات نقلها التلفزيون الرسمي، إن «على العدو أن ينتظر هجمات عقابية مستمرة، أبواب الجحيم ستنفتح أكثر فأكثر، لحظة بلحظة، على الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل». وزعم الحرس الثوري في وقت سابق أنه استهدف حاملة الطائرات الأمريكية «أبراهام لينكولن» بـ4 صواريخ كروز. ولفت إلى أن حاملة الطائرات «فرّت» نحو جنوب شرق المحيط الهندي، وفق ما ذكرت وكالة أنباء «إرنا». في سياق متصل، أعلن الهلال الأحمر الإيراني، مقتل 787 شخصاً جراء الضربات الجوية التي شنتها الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل على إيران منذ السبت الماضي. وأوضح في منشور على منصة «إكس» أن 153 مدينة إيرانية تأثرت بالهجمات الأمريكية والإسرائيلية.
