أجرى الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي عدداً من الاتصالات الهاتفية اليوم، مع وزراء خارجية دول مجلس التعاون. وجرى خلال الاتصالات التشاور وتبادل وجهات النظر حول المستجدات الراهنة في المنطقة، بما يعزز وحدة الموقف الخليجي تجاه تطورات الاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة. وأطلع البديوي، وزراء خارجية دول المجلس على فحوى اتصالاته مع عدد من المسؤولين في الدول الصديقة والشقيقة، الذين أكدوا خلال تلك الاتصالات دعم دولهم لموقف دول مجلس التعاون ضد الاعتداءات الغادرة، ووقوفهم إلى جانبها. وأكد الأمين العام أن هذه الاتصالات تأتي في إطار المتابعة المستمرة للتطورات الخطيرة، وحرص مجلس التعاون على تعزيز العمل الخليجي المشترك، وتوحيد الجهود والمواقف تجاه التحديات التي تواجه أمن واستقرار دوله، بما يضمن الحفاظ على سيادتها وأمنها وسلامة أراضيها. The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, conducted a number of phone calls today with the foreign ministers of the GCC member states. During the calls, there was consultation and exchange of views regarding the current developments in the region, aimed at strengthening the Gulf position towards the developments of the Iranian aggressive attacks. Al-Budaiwi briefed the foreign ministers of the council on the content of his communications with several officials from friendly and brotherly countries, who confirmed during those calls their countries' support for the GCC's stance against the treacherous attacks and their solidarity with it. The Secretary-General emphasized that these communications are part of the ongoing follow-up to the serious developments and the Council's commitment to enhancing joint Gulf action, unifying efforts and positions regarding the challenges facing the security and stability of its member states, ensuring the preservation of their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
