انضم حكم الساحة الدولي رائد الزهراني رسميًا إلى قائمة حكام تقنية الفيديو (VAR) على مستوى قارة آسيا، وذلك بعد اجتيازه الدورة التدريبية التي نظمها الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم في مقره بالعاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور، المخصصة لحكام الفيديو الدوليين، خلال الفترة من 2 إلى 6 فبراير 2026. من جانبه، هنّأ رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ياسر المسحل الحكم الدولي رائد الزهراني بمناسبة انضمامه إلى قائمة النخبة لحكام الفيديو الآسيويين، لينضم بذلك إلى كوكبة الحكام السعوديين المصنفين ضمن نخبة حكام القارة، متمنيًا له ولزملائه دوام التوفيق وتقديم صورة مشرفة للتحكيم السعودي على المستويين الآسيوي والدولي. وأضاف المسحل: «نعمل بشكل مستمر على الارتقاء بمستوى الحكام السعوديين، الذين أثبتوا حضورهم ضمن نخبة حكام القارة، وحققوا تواجدًا بارزًا في العديد من الفعاليات الإقليمية والقارية والدولية خلال الفترة الماضية». International referee Raed Al-Zahrani has officially joined the list of Video Assistant Referees (VAR) at the continental level in Asia, after successfully completing the training course organized by the Asian Football Confederation at its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, dedicated to international video referees, from February 2 to 6, 2026. For his part, the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mishal, congratulated international referee Raed Al-Zahrani on joining the elite list of Asian video referees, thus joining the ranks of Saudi referees classified among the continent's elite, wishing him and his colleagues continued success and to present an honorable image of Saudi refereeing at both the Asian and international levels. Al-Mishal added: "We are continuously working to elevate the level of Saudi referees, who have proven their presence among the elite referees of the continent and have achieved a prominent presence in many regional, continental, and international events over the past period."
