في موقف ديني قوي وواضح، أدان الأزهر الشريف بأشد العبارات استمرار الاعتداءات الإيرانية غير المبررة على دول الخليج العربي وعدد من الدول العربية والإسلامية الشقيقة، معتبراً إياها انتهاكاً صارخاً للسيادة الوطنية ولأحكام الشريعة الإسلامية والقانون الدولي الإنساني. وأكد الأزهر في بيان رسمي صدر اليوم، أن استهداف المناطق السكنية والمطارات والمستشفيات ومنشآت الطاقة في دول لم تشارك في أي نزاع مباشر يمثل «خروجاً صريحاً» على تعاليم الإسلام التي تحرم سفك الدماء البريئة، مستشهداً بقوله تعالى: ﴿وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ﴾، وبحديث النبي ﷺ: «كلُّ المسلم على المسلم حرامٌ: دمه وماله وعِرضُه». وطالب الأزهر الجمهورية الإسلامية بحكم كونها دولة مسلمة وجارة باتخاذ قرار فوري بوقف كافة الاعتداءات العسكرية على الدول العربية دون قيد أو شرط، واحترام سيادتها الكاملة وعدم المساس بأمنها أو استقرارها، صوناً لأرواح الأبرياء الذين لا ناقة لهم ولا جمل في الصراع الدائر. كما رحب الأزهر بالجهود الدبلوماسية المكثفة التي تبذلها القيادة المصرية لوقف جميع العمليات العسكرية في المنطقة، داعياً المجتمع الدولي إلى تحمل مسؤولياته الكاملة في وقف الحرب، وتغليب لغة الحكمة والحوار، ومنع اتساع رقعة الصراع الذي يهدد أمن المنطقة بأسرها وحياة ملايين المدنيين. وختم البيان بتقديم خالص التعازي والتضامن مع أسر الشهداء والضحايا في الدول الشقيقة، مع الدعاء للمصابين بالشفاء العاجل، وسؤال الله أن يحفظ الأوطان من كل سوء، ويجنب المنطقة ويلات الحروب، ويرد كيد المتربصين، ويديم نعمة الأمن والسلام والاستقرار على شعوب المنطقة. جاء هذا البيان في وقت تشهد فيه المنطقة تصعيداً خطيراً أدى إلى إغلاق مجالات جوية مؤقتة، وارتفاع أسعار الطاقة عالمياً، ودعوات متزايدة من دول عربية وإسلامية ودولية للعودة إلى طاولة الحوار قبل أن تتحول الأزمة إلى حرب إقليمية. وأسفرت الهجمات الإيرانية على الدول العربية عن سقوط ضحايا مدنيين وأضرار مادية كبيرة، وسط إدانات دولية واسعة ودعوات لوقف التصعيد. In a strong and clear religious stance, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif condemned in the strongest terms the continuation of the unjust Iranian attacks on the Gulf Arab states and a number of brotherly Arab and Islamic countries, considering them a blatant violation of national sovereignty and the provisions of Islamic law and international humanitarian law. Al-Azhar confirmed in an official statement issued today that targeting residential areas, airports, hospitals, and energy facilities in countries that have not participated in any direct conflict represents a "clear departure" from the teachings of Islam, which prohibit the shedding of innocent blood, citing the Almighty's words: ﴿And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right﴾, and the Prophet's ﷺ saying: "The blood, wealth, and honor of every Muslim are sacred." Al-Azhar called on the Islamic Republic, as a neighboring Muslim state, to make an immediate decision to stop all military attacks on Arab countries unconditionally, to respect their full sovereignty, and not to undermine their security or stability, in order to protect the lives of innocent people who have no part in the ongoing conflict. Al-Azhar also welcomed the intensive diplomatic efforts made by the Egyptian leadership to halt all military operations in the region, calling on the international community to fully assume its responsibilities in stopping the war, prioritizing the language of wisdom and dialogue, and preventing the escalation of the conflict that threatens the security of the entire region and the lives of millions of civilians. The statement concluded by offering sincere condolences and solidarity with the families of the martyrs and victims in the brotherly countries, praying for the swift recovery of the injured, and asking Allah to protect the homelands from all evil, to spare the region the horrors of wars, to thwart the schemes of the conspirators, and to sustain the blessing of security, peace, and stability for the peoples of the region. This statement came at a time when the region is witnessing a dangerous escalation that has led to the temporary closure of airspaces, a rise in global energy prices, and increasing calls from Arab, Islamic, and international countries to return to the dialogue table before the crisis turns into a regional war. The Iranian attacks on Arab countries have resulted in civilian casualties and significant material damage, amid widespread international condemnations and calls to stop the escalation.
