فيما تدخل الحرب الأمريكية الإسرائيلية مع إيران يومها التاسع عشر، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية السعودية استضافة الرياض مساء اليوم (الأربعاء)، اجتماعاً وزارياً تشاورياً لوزراء خارجية مجموعة من الدول العربية والإسلامية. وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان أن الاجتماع يهدف إلى مزيد من التشاور والتنسيق حيال سبل دعم أمن المنطقة واستقرارها. من جانبها، أعلنت أنقرة أن وزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان سيحضر اجتماع الرياض لبحث التطورات في المنطقة، وقالت إن الوزير سيقوم بجولة إقليمية سعيا لإنهاء حرب إيران. ومع تصاعد الاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة ضد دول الخليج، عززت دبلوماسية السعودية وتيرة التنسيق السياسي الخليجي المشترك في الوقت الذي لا تزال دول مجلس التعاون تلتزم بضبط النفس، وتفضل الاستقرار. وأجرت الرياض خلال الأيام الماضية اتصالات مع عواصم خليجية وعربية عدة لتكثيف التشاور والتنسيق حيال الاعتداءات الإيرانية الجبانة التي طالت دول الخليج الست التي أكدت حقها في الدفاع عن النفس تجاه «العدوان الإيراني الغاشم». ومن خلال تلك الاتصالات بعثت الرياض برسالة عنوانها أن أمن الخليج كل لا يتجزأ، وعكست اتصالاتها ورسائلها رغبة مشتركة في تحقيق الاستقرار، وحرص الرياض على ترسيخ موقف خليجي موحد قادر على حماية أمن المنطقة واستقرارها في ظل المتغيرات الراهنة. In recent days, Riyadh has conducted communications with several Gulf and Arab capitals to intensify consultation and coordination regarding the cowardly Iranian attacks that have targeted the six Gulf countries, which affirmed their right to self-defense against the "brutal Iranian aggression."
