In a post on "Truth Social," Trump shared a cartoon depicting former President Barack Obama and former FBI Director Robert Mueller, who passed away on Saturday. Trump celebrated his death, stating he was "happy for his death because he will no longer be able to harm the innocent." In the cartoon, Mueller, who served as a special investigator for the Department of Justice investigating Trump's alleged connections to Russia during his first term, tells Obama: "I tried to find any evidence to incriminate Trump, but everything (I found) led back to you and Hillary," referring to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, his opponent in the 2016 election. Minutes before these posts, Trump announced that he would send Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to U.S. airports to assist Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees in managing the airports, as they had not received their pay and were facing a severe staffing shortage after many resigned or were absent, leading to long lines for travelers. Trump said: "On Monday, ICE agents will head to the airports to assist the wonderful TSA employees who have remained on the job." Trump had threatened on Saturday to deploy ICE agents to the airports if Democrats in Congress did not immediately agree to fund airport security.
