وفيما يخص جدل مسلسله الرمضاني الماضي «عين سحرية»، أوضح سمرة أنه لا توجد خطط لتقديم جزء ثانٍ، مشيرًا إلى أن قضايا الفساد التي يتناولها العمل لا تنتهي، ويمكن دائمًا تقديم أعمال جديدة ومتنوعة ضمن نفس الإطار الفني، بما يضيف تجديدًا وتنويعًا للطرح الدرامي.
