أعلنت الهيئة العامة للنقل عن تعليق تطبيق شرط سريان الشهادات والوثائق المطلوبة لإصدار أو تجديد التراخيص الملاحية ورخص العمل للوحدات البحرية، وذلك لمدة (30) يومًا قابلة للتمديد عند الحاجة، شريطة ألا يكون هناك تأثير على سلامة الأرواح وحماية البيئة البحرية، وذلك للسفن السعودية والأجنبية الموجودة داخل المياه الإقليمية للمملكة في الخليج العربي. ويأتي هذا القرار استجابةً للظروف الراهنة، ودعمًا لاستمرارية الأعمال البحرية وتعزيز انسيابية العمليات التشغيلية داخل المياه الإقليمية للمملكة. ويشمل الاستثناء السفن المرتبطة بالأعمال والمشروعات البحرية داخل المناطق البحرية للمملكة، التي قد تواجه تحديات تشغيلية تحول دون مغادرتها لاستكمال المتطلبات الفنية أو إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة خارج تلك المياه. وأكدت الهيئة أن هذا الإجراء يهدف إلى تمكين السفن من مواصلة أعمالها بكفاءة وأمان، وتعزيز مرونة العمليات التشغيلية، مع الالتزام بالمتطلبات النظامية ذات العلاقة. The General Transport Authority announced the suspension of the requirement for the validity of certificates and documents needed for issuing or renewing maritime licenses and work permits for marine units, for a period of (30) days, extendable if necessary, provided that there is no impact on the safety of lives and the protection of the marine environment. This applies to both Saudi and foreign ships present within the territorial waters of the Kingdom in the Arabian Gulf. This decision comes in response to the current circumstances, supporting the continuity of maritime operations and enhancing the smoothness of operational processes within the territorial waters of the Kingdom. The exception includes ships associated with maritime work and projects within the Kingdom's marine areas, which may face operational challenges preventing them from departing to complete technical requirements or conduct necessary inspections outside those waters. The authority confirmed that this measure aims to enable ships to continue their operations efficiently and safely, enhancing the flexibility of operational processes while adhering to the relevant regulatory requirements.
