أعلنت مصر تعطيل الدراسة يومي الأربعاء والخميس القادمين؛ بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية. وقالت وزارة التربية والتعليم المصرية، في بيان لها، اليوم (الثلاثاء) إنه نظراً للأحوال الجوية غير المستقرة، التي من المتوقع أن تشهدها بعض المحافظات بداية من الغد الأربعاء، وجه الوزير محمد عبداللطيف بمنح جميع المدارس على مستوى الجمهورية أجازة خلال يومي غدٍ الأربعاء وبعد غدٍ الخميس. وبحسب القرار تكون الإجازة للطلاب والمعلمين والعاملين بالمدارس كافة، وذلك بهدف تحقيق تكافؤ الفرص بين جميع الطلاب على مستوى الجمهورية، والعمل على حماية أبنائنا الطلاب من التعرض لأي مخاطر نتيجة سوء الأحوال الجوية. وتشهد حالة الطقس خلال هذه الأيام تقلبات جوية عديدة، ما بين رياح شديدة وسقوط أمطار على مناطق متفرقة، وموجة طقس سيئ تتعرض لها البلاد خلال الساعات القليلة المقبلة. وحذرت الهيئة العامة للأرصاد الجوية المصرية من حالة الطقس، خلال اليومين القادمين على أغلب أنحاء البلاد. وقالت الهيئة إنه من المتوقع أن تشهد البلاد الأربعاء المقبل حالة من التقلبات الجوية الحادة والسريعة، تتوافر فرص سقوط أمطار شديدة الغزارة تستمر لساعات على أغلب المناطق، وسط رياح عاصفة شديدة البرودة، قد تكون مثيرة للرمال والأتربة على فترات متقطعة. وتوقعت الأرصاد سقوط أمطار على السواحل الشمالية، جميع محافظات الدلتا ومدن القناة والقاهرة الكبرى، إضافة إلى أغلب أماكن المناطق التالية: شمال الصعيد وشمال الوادى الجديد وخليج السويس وسيناء. وأوضحت الأرصاد أن الأمطار ستكون شديدة الغزارة وتستمر على مناطق عديدة إلى ساعات بكميات كبيرة مما تجعلها ترفع منسوب المياه فى الطرق والأنفاق وتجمعات كبيرة للمياه تعمل على حدوث فيضانات محلية محدودة ببعض الأماكن، إضافة لتشكل السيول على بعض مناطق الصعيد وخليج السويس وسيناء. كما توقعت خرائط الطقس سماع أصوات الرعد الشديدة بالعديد من المناطق ومما قد يرافقه من نشاط للصواعق الهابطة وكذلك الرياح العاصفة الهابطة بشكل مفاجئ، وتنخفض الحرارة بشكل ملحوظ مع يوم الأربعاء بسبب تعمق الكتلة الهوائية القطبية فى أغلب طبقات الجو ليشعر العديد بطقس شديد البرودة نهاراً وقارس ليلاً. وذلك مع الرياح شديدة العاصفة، التي ستنشط على أغلب الأنحاء لكن ستكون أكثر في القاهرة الكبرى والوادى الجديد وخليج السويس وسيناء وحتى جميع محافظات الصعيد وسلاسل جبال البحر الأحمر. ومن المتوقع استمرار الأنخفاض فى درجات الحرارة يوم الخميس على معظم المناطق خصوصاً خلال ساعات الليل، واستمرار فرص الأمطار لكنها أقل من يوم الأربعاء من خفيفة الى متوسطة على محافظات السواحل الشمالية تغزر على السواحل الشمالية الشرقية وتتقدم أيضاً خفيفة إلى متوسطة إلى الدلتا والقاهرة وشمال الصعيد ووسطه. في سياق متصل، أعلنت وزارة الصحة المصرية، رفع درجة الاستعداد إلى القصوى في جميع المستشفيات والمنشآت الصحية، تزامناً مع تحذيرات هيئة الأرصاد الجوية من حالة عدم استقرار جوي قوية تضرب البلاد يومي الأربعاء والخميس 25 و26 مارس 2026. ووجهت الوزارة باتخاذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان سرعة الاستجابة لأي طوارئ صحية، وذلك من خلال رفع الجاهزية الكاملة بأقسام الطوارئ والعناية المركزة، وتوافر الأدوية والمستلزمات الطبية، وأرصدة كافية من جميع فصائل الدم ومشتقاته، ومراجعة مولدات الكهرباء وخزانات المياه وخطط الإخلاء. كما دعت المصريين إلى الالتزام بالإرشادات الرسمية وتجنب التواجد في مناطق تجمع المياه أو مجاري الأمطار، مشددة على أن غرف الأزمات والطوارئ تعمل على مدار الساعة، مرتبطة بمركز التحكم الرئيسي، والخط الساخن 137 جاهز لتلقي البلاغات والاستفسارات الطبية على مدار اليوم. The Egyptian Ministry of Education stated in a statement today (Tuesday) that due to the unstable weather conditions expected in some governorates starting tomorrow, Wednesday, Minister Mohamed Abdel-Latif has directed that all schools across the republic be granted a holiday on Wednesday and Thursday. According to the decision, the holiday applies to students, teachers, and all school staff, aiming to ensure equal opportunities for all students nationwide and to protect our children from any risks resulting from bad weather conditions. The weather is currently experiencing numerous fluctuations, including strong winds and rainfall in various areas, along with a wave of bad weather expected to hit the country in the coming hours. The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has warned about the weather conditions over the next two days across most parts of the country. The authority indicated that the country is expected to experience sharp and rapid weather fluctuations next Wednesday, with a high likelihood of heavy rainfall lasting for hours in most areas, accompanied by strong and cold stormy winds that may stir up sand and dust intermittently. The meteorological forecasts predict rainfall on the northern coasts, all delta governorates, canal cities, and Greater Cairo, in addition to most areas in the following regions: northern Upper Egypt, northern New Valley, Gulf of Suez, and Sinai. The meteorological authority clarified that the rainfall will be very heavy and will last for many areas for hours with large quantities, which will raise water levels on roads, tunnels, and large water accumulations, leading to localized flooding in some areas, as well as the formation of torrents in some areas of Upper Egypt, Gulf of Suez, and Sinai. Weather maps also predict the occurrence of loud thunder in many areas, which may be accompanied by active downward lightning and sudden stormy winds, with a noticeable drop in temperature on Wednesday due to the deepening of the polar air mass in most layers of the atmosphere, causing many to feel extremely cold weather during the day and bitterly cold at night. This will be accompanied by strong stormy winds that will be active in most areas, but will be more intense in Greater Cairo, New Valley, Gulf of Suez, Sinai, and all Upper Egypt governorates and the Red Sea mountain ranges. A continued drop in temperatures is expected on Thursday across most areas, especially during the night hours, with ongoing chances of rain, though less than on Wednesday, ranging from light to moderate on the northern coast governorates, increasing on the northeastern coast, and also advancing light to moderate rain to the delta, Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt and its center. In a related context, the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the highest state of readiness in all hospitals and health facilities, coinciding with the meteorological authority's warnings of a strong unstable weather condition hitting the country on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25 and 26, 2026. The ministry directed that all necessary measures be taken to ensure a rapid response to any health emergencies, by fully preparing emergency and intensive care departments, ensuring the availability of medicines and medical supplies, maintaining sufficient stocks of all blood types and their derivatives, and reviewing electricity generators, water tanks, and evacuation plans. The ministry also urged Egyptians to adhere to official guidelines and avoid being in areas of water accumulation or rain drainage, emphasizing that crisis and emergency rooms operate around the clock, linked to the main control center, and the hotline 137 is ready to receive reports and medical inquiries throughout the day.
