تستهدف الحكومة المصرية ممثلة في وزارة البترول، خفض استهلاك الغاز الطبيعي بمحطات الكهرباء بالبلاد بنحو 8% أو ما يُعادل 500 مليون قدم3 يومياً، بداية من شهر أبريل 2026، وذلك وفق مصدر مسؤول. وقال المصدر لـ «العربية Business»: «إن حجم الوفر المستهدف سيجري تحقيقه جراء تطبيق خطة إغلاق المنشآت والمحلات العامة والمراكز التجارية في التاسعة مساء، للتعامل مع التداعيات الاقتصادية العالمية الراهنة وأزمة إمدادات الطاقة بالشرق الأوسط». ذروة الاستهلاك وأضاف المصدر أن خطة ترشيد الطاقة وغلق المنشآت بالبلاد ستقلص أحمال الشبكة القومية للكهرباء بنحو 17% ما يُقارب 5 آلاف ميغاواط يوميًا. إذ تبلغ ذروة استهلاك الطاقة قبل تطبيق قرار الغلق نحو 29.4 ألف ميغاواط يومياً، وتسعى الحكومة لتقليصها لمستوى 24 إلى 25 ألف ميغاواط. وكان رئيس الوزراء المصري مصطفى مدبولي، قد أوضح في 18 مارس الجاري، أنه سيتم غلق المحال التجارية والمولات والمطاعم عند الساعة 9 مساءً، باستثناء يومي الخميس والجمعة حيث يستمر العمل حتى الساعة 10 مساءً، وذلك اعتباراً من السبت 28 مارس. وأفاد رئيس الوزراء المصري مصطفى مدبولي، أمس، بأنه تم التوجيه الفوري بخصم 30% لكل مخصصات الوقود للسيارات الحكومية وذلك ضمن إجراءات استثنائية لترشيد استهلاك الطاقة في الدولة. Peak Consumption The source added that the energy rationalization plan and the closure of facilities in the country will reduce the loads on the national electricity grid by about 17%, which is approximately 5,000 megawatts per day. The peak energy consumption before implementing the closure decision is about 29,400 megawatts per day, and the government aims to reduce it to a level of 24,000 to 25,000 megawatts. Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly clarified on March 18 that commercial shops, malls, and restaurants will close at 9 PM, except on Thursdays and Fridays when they will remain open until 10 PM, starting from Saturday, March 28. Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly also stated yesterday that there has been an immediate directive to deduct 30% from all fuel allocations for government vehicles as part of exceptional measures to rationalize energy consumption in the country.
