أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي اغتيال قائد الجبهة الجنوبية في حزب الله يوسف إسماعيل هاشم، في ضربة نفذتها قواته البحرية في بيروت، أمس (الثلاثاء). وأضاف الجيش الإسرائيلي، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن الضربة التي شنها في بيروت أسفرت عن اغتيال هاشم الذي تولى قيادة الجبهة الجنوبية خلفاً لعلي كركي في سبتمبر 2024، والذي اغتالته إسرائيل في نفس الضربة التي أودت بحياة الأمين العام لحزب الله حسن نصرالله. واعتبر الجيش أن هاشم كان «قائداً بارزاً، وشخصية محورية في الجماعة». وكان وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس أفاد أمس بأن إسرائيل ستقيم منطقة عازلة داخل جنوب لبنان، وستحتفظ بسيطرة على كامل المنطقة حتى نهر الليطاني، مضيفاً أن عودة النازحين ستكون ممنوعة تماماً «حتى ضمان أمن الشمال»، وأن إسرائيل ستهدم كافة منازل القرى الحدودية، على غرار قطاع غزة. وأضاف في تصريحات نقلتها وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية أنه في نهاية العملية الإسرائيلية في لبنان «سيتمركز الجيش الإسرائيلي في منطقة أمنية داخل لبنان، وسيسيطر على المنطقة بأكملها حتى منطقة الليطاني». ولفت إلى أن عودة أكثر من 600 ألف لبناني من سكان الجنوب الذين نزحوا إلى شمال الليطاني «ستكون ممنوعة تماماً». وقال إن الحظر على عودتهم «سيظل سارياً، حتى يتم ضمان سلامة سكان الشمال»، على حد زعمه. وتوعد بهدم جميع المنازل في القرى القريبة من الحدود في لبنان، وفقاً لنموذج رفح، وبيت حانون في غزة، لإزالة التهديدات من الحدود من سكان الشمال مرة واحدة وإلى الأبد، وفق قوله.
