نفى الفنان الكويتي عبدالإمام عبدالله،اعتزال الوسط الفني والتمثيل، الذي يغيب عنه منذ أكثر من عامين، بعد مسيرة فنية طويلة قدّم فيها أعمالاً لافتة خلال ستة عقود.
وعكة صحية
وأرجع غيابه عن الساحة الفنية إلى وعكة صحية تعرّض لها في الفترة الماضية، ولا يزال يخضع بين فترة وأخرى لفحوص طبية دورية، لافتاً إلى أن وضعه الصحي مستقر.
وأوضح أن عدم تلقيه نصوصاً جيدة تكون دافعاً للعودة إلى التمثيل سبب لغيابه، إذ إنه تلقى بعض الأدوار التي لم تُناسبه.

وعبدالله ممثل تلفزيوني ومسرحي ومخرج إذاعي، من مواليد 1947، حاصل على دبلوم في الإدارة، بدأ مشواره الفني منذ ستينيات القرن الماضي، من خلال العمل المسرحي مع «فرقة مسرح الخليج العربي» و«فرقة المسرح الشعبي».
وشارك في العديد من المسرحيات من أبرزها «رأس المملوك، هذا الميدان يا حميدان، صبيان وبنات، المهرج، رجل وامرأة، طار برزقه».
ودخل عبدالإمام المجال الإذاعي بعمر صغير، وشارك في العديد من الأعمال الدرامية فيها، من بينها: «نجوم القمة، نافذة على التاريخ، خيال كاتب واقعي، بيت الزكاة»، فضلاً عن إخراجه أعمالاً إذاعية، أبرزها «الدنيا ابتسامة، أحلى الكلام، مجالس القضاء، ذكريات منسية».
وفي التلفزيون، شارك الفنان السبعيني في العديد من الأعمال في الكويت ودول عربية، بينها: «زواج بدون رصيد، الغرباء، العائلة، رقية وسبيكة، الملقوفة، البيت المسكون، دحباش».
ونال جوائز وشهادات تقدير من جهات ومؤسسات ثقافية وفنية عدة خلال مسيرته.
Kuwaiti artist Abdul Imam Abdullah denied his retirement from the artistic and acting scene, from which he has been absent for more than two years, after a long artistic career during which he presented remarkable works over six decades.
Health Issue
He attributed his absence from the artistic scene to a health issue he experienced recently, and he still undergoes periodic medical check-ups from time to time, noting that his health condition is stable.
He explained that the lack of receiving good scripts that would motivate him to return to acting is a reason for his absence, as he has received some roles that did not suit him.
Abdul Imam Abdullah
Abdullah is a television and theater actor and a radio director, born in 1947, holding a diploma in management. He began his artistic journey in the 1960s through theatrical work with the "Gulf Arab Theater Troupe" and the "Popular Theater Troupe."
He participated in many plays, the most notable of which include "Ras Al-Mamlouk, This Field, O Hamidan, Boys and Girls, The Clown, A Man and a Woman, and Tar Barzaq."
Abdul Imam entered the radio field at a young age and participated in many dramatic works, including: "Stars of the Summit, A Window on History, The Realistic Writer's Imagination, House of Zakat," in addition to directing radio works, the most prominent of which are "Life is a Smile, The Sweetest Words, Courts' Sessions, Forgotten Memories."
On television, the seventy-year-old artist participated in many works in Kuwait and Arab countries, including: "Marriage Without Balance, The Strangers, The Family, Ruqayya and Sabika, The Nosy One, The Haunted House, Dhabash."
He has received awards and certificates of appreciation from various cultural and artistic organizations throughout his career.
