قرر مجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب، في جلسته المنعقدة اليوم (الأربعاء)، منح الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي، وسام «الأمير نايف للأمن العربي من الدرجة الممتازة»، الذي يُعد من أعلى وأرفع الأوسمة الأمنية العربية. وجاء هذا القرار تقديرًا لجهود الرئيس السيسي المخلصة في خدمة الأمن والاستقرار العربي، ودوره البارز في تعزيز التعاون الأمني المشترك بين الدول العربية، وترسيخ وحدة الصف العربي في مواجهة التحديات الأمنية المعاصرة. وأكد المجلس في بيانه أن التكريم يعكس عمق التعاون والعمل العربي المشترك، ويرسخ نهجًا قائمًا على تقدير الجهود الصادقة وتكريم القادة الذين كرسوا إرادتهم ورؤيتهم الثاقبة من أجل تعزيز الأمن العربي ومواجهة التهديدات التي تستهدف استقرار المنطقة. ويُعد وسام الأمير نايف للأمن العربي من أبرز الجوائز والأوسمة التي يمنحها مجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب، وهو يحمل اسم الأمير نايف بن عبد العزيز آل سعود (رحمه الله)، الذي كان يُعرف بدوره الرائد في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب والجريمة المنظمة على المستوى العربي والدولي. ويُمنح الوسام من الدرجة الممتازة للقادة ورؤساء الدول تقديرًا لإسهاماتهم الاستثنائية في دعم الأمن العربي المشترك. وتأتي هذه الخطوة في سياق الدورة الثالثة والأربعين لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب، الذي يُعد الجهاز التنفيذي الرئيسي للتعاون الأمني بين الدول العربية تحت مظلة جامعة الدول العربية، حيث يتركز عمل المجلس على تنسيق الجهود في مجالات مكافحة الإرهاب، الجريمة الإلكترونية، تهريب المخدرات، الهجرة غير الشرعية، وتعزيز القدرات الأمنية المشتركة. The Council of Arab Interior Ministers decided, in its session held today (Wednesday), to award Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi the "Prince Nayef Award for Arab Security of Excellent Degree," which is considered one of the highest and most prestigious Arab security honors. This decision came in appreciation of President El-Sisi's sincere efforts in serving Arab security and stability, and his prominent role in enhancing joint security cooperation among Arab countries, as well as reinforcing Arab unity in the face of contemporary security challenges. The council emphasized in its statement that this honor reflects the depth of cooperation and joint Arab action, and establishes an approach based on appreciating sincere efforts and honoring leaders who have dedicated their will and insightful vision to enhance Arab security and confront threats targeting the stability of the region. The Prince Nayef Award for Arab Security is one of the most notable awards and honors granted by the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, named after Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may God have mercy on him), who was known for his pioneering role in combating terrorism and organized crime at both the Arab and international levels. The excellent degree award is granted to leaders and heads of states in recognition of their exceptional contributions to supporting joint Arab security. This step comes within the context of the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, which is the main executive body for security cooperation among Arab countries under the umbrella of the Arab League, where the council's work focuses on coordinating efforts in the fields of combating terrorism, cybercrime, drug trafficking, illegal immigration, and enhancing joint security capabilities.
