أدان الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم ما وصفها بـ«الواقعة العنصرية المقيتة» التي شهدها ملعب إسبانيول في مدينة برشلونة خلال مباراة ودية أمام إسبانيا استعداداً لكأس العالم أمس (الثلاثاء).
وفتحت الشرطة الإسبانية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، تحقيقاً في هتافات معادية للإسلام والأجانب، رددتها الجماهير خلال المباراة الودية ضد مصر، والتي أثارت أيضاً انتقادات حادة من مسؤولي كرة القدم الإسبانية والحكومة.
وقال الاتحاد المصري في بيان: «يؤكد الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم إدانته الكاملة لواقعة العنصرية المقيتة، التي شهدها ملعب إسبانيول في مدينة برشلونة، خلال مباراة منتخبنا الوطني الودية أمام نظيره الإسباني، وما حدث من خروج بعض الجماهير التي تواجدت في المدرجات على النص بترديد عبارات وشعارات عنصرية، كما نشدد على رفضنا التام وإدانتنا لتلك الأحداث خلال المباراة وعدم احترام النشيد الوطني، وهو أمر مرفوض تماماً في ملاعب كرة القدم وظاهرة سلبية، لابد من العمـل معاً من أجل القضاء عليها».
وأضاف: «يثمن الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم بيانات الرفض والإدانة، التي صدرت عن الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم ووزارة الرياضة الإسبانية وجميع المسؤولين ونجوم كرة القدم في إسبانيا لرفض وإدانة ما حدث من تجاوزات عنصرية خلال المباراة، التي خاضها المنتخب الوطني المصري بقوة وكفاءة على أرض الملعب وكان نداً لأصحاب الأرض استعداداً لنهائيات كأس العالم».
وقال الاتحاد المصري إن رئيسه هاني أبوريدة وبصفته الدولية، يعمل مع مسؤولي الاتحاد الدولي (الفيفا) وجميع الشركاء والمؤسسات الدولية لمنع هذه المشاهد المسيئة من ملاعب كرة القدم في كل دول العالم لأن ما حدث هو أمر مرفوض تماماً والاتحاد الدولي يحارب العنصرية ويكافح التمييز في كرة القدم، مشدداً على رفض تكرار هذه المشاهد مستقبلاً والعمل بكل جهد للقضاء على هذه الظاهرة نهائياً.
وأشار الاتحاد المصري إلى أن ما حدث «من جانب قلة من الجماهير في مدرجات ملعب إسبانيول لن يؤثر مطلقاً على العلاقات الوطيدة التي تجمع بين الاتحادين المصري والإسباني لكرة القدم، بعد الاستقبال الرائع لبعثة الفراعنة في برشلونة وتقديم كل التسهيلات والدعم»، مشدداً على أن مصر دائماً تفتح ذراعيها لكل ممثلي الكرة الإسبانية ومواطني إسبانيا وكل الدول الصديقة على «أرض الحضارة والمحبة والسلام».
وفي ملعب «آر.سي.دي.إي» بالقرب من برشلونة، الملعب الرئيسي لنادي إسبانيول المنافس في دوري الدرجة الأولى الإسباني، هتف مشجعو إسبانيا «من لا يقفز فهو مسلم» خلال المباراة الودية التحضيرية لكأس العالم، والتي انتهت بالتعادل السلبي.
وقال لامين يامال جناح منتخب إسبانيا، وهو مسلم، في منشور على «إنستغرام» إنه رغم إدراكه أن غالبية المشجعين لا يتبنون هذا السلوك، فإن الهتافات التي سمعت كانت غير محترمة وغير مقبولة على الإطلاق.
وكتب: «السخرية من الدين في الملعب تجعلك تبدو جاهلاً وعنصرياً. كرة القدم خلقت للاستمتاع والتشجيع، وليس لإهانة الناس بسبب هويتهم أو معتقداتهم».
وندد وزير العدل فيليكس بولانيوس بهذه الهتافات على منصة إكس، مؤكداً موقف الحكومة اليسارية ضد صعود اليمين المتطرف، الذي تربطه بتزايد العنصرية وكراهية الأجانب.
وكتب: «إن الإهانات والهتافات العنصرية تجلب لنا العار كمجتمع. اليمين المتطرف لن يترك أي مساحة خالية من كراهيته، إن من يلتزمون الصمت اليوم متواطئون».
وسلطت الحادثة الضوء على المخاوف بشأن العنصرية في كرة القدم الإسبانية، وهي قضية متكررة تتعلق بشكل خاص بالمهاجم البرازيلي فينيسيوس جونيور لاعب ريال مدريد، الذي استهدف في حالات بارزة.
وعرض الملعب رسائل على الشاشات العلوية تذكر المشجعين بأن المشاركة في أعمال العنصرية وكره الأجانب جريمة، لكن الهتافات استمرت رغم ذلك.
وقال مدرب إسبانيا لويس دي لا فوينتي للصحفيين إن السلوك العنصري للجماهير أمر لا يمكن التسامح معه، طبقا لـ«رويترز». وأضاف: «إنهم لا يمثلون كرة القدم. ويستغلونها، كما يفعلون في مجالات أخرى من الحياة. نحن بحاجة إلى عزل هؤلاء الأشخاص عن المجتمع».
وقال الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم في رسالة على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي إنه «يقف ضد العنصرية في كرة القدم ويدين أي عمل من أعمال العنف داخل الملاعب».
وقالت شرطة كتالونيا، اليوم (الأربعاء)، إنها فتحت تحقيقاً في الحادثة، دون تقديم مزيد من التفاصيل.
The Egyptian Football Association condemned what it described as a "detestable racist incident" that occurred at the Espanyol stadium in Barcelona during a friendly match against Spain in preparation for the World Cup yesterday (Tuesday).
The Spanish police opened an investigation today (Wednesday) into anti-Islam and anti-foreigner chants shouted by fans during the friendly match against Egypt, which also drew sharp criticism from Spanish football officials and the government.
The Egyptian Association stated in a statement: "The Egyptian Football Association fully condemns the detestable racist incident that took place at the Espanyol stadium in Barcelona during our national team’s friendly match against the Spanish counterpart, and what occurred when some fans in the stands deviated from the text by chanting racist phrases and slogans. We also emphasize our complete rejection and condemnation of these events during the match and the disrespect shown to the national anthem, which is entirely unacceptable in football stadiums and a negative phenomenon that must be addressed together to eradicate it."
It added: "The Egyptian Football Association appreciates the statements of rejection and condemnation issued by the Spanish Football Association, the Spanish Ministry of Sports, and all officials and football stars in Spain for rejecting and condemning the racist excesses that occurred during the match, in which the Egyptian national team played strongly and efficiently on the field and was a worthy opponent to the hosts in preparation for the World Cup finals."
The Egyptian Association stated that its president, Hani Abou Rida, in his international capacity, is working with officials from FIFA and all partners and international institutions to prevent such offensive scenes from football stadiums worldwide, as what happened is completely unacceptable. The international federation fights racism and combats discrimination in football, stressing the need to reject the recurrence of such scenes in the future and to work diligently to eradicate this phenomenon completely.
The Egyptian Association pointed out that what happened "from a minority of fans in the stands of the Espanyol stadium will not affect at all the strong relations between the Egyptian and Spanish football associations, following the wonderful reception of the Pharaohs' delegation in Barcelona and the provision of all facilities and support," emphasizing that Egypt always opens its arms to all representatives of Spanish football and citizens of Spain and all friendly countries on "the land of civilization, love, and peace."
At the "RCDE" stadium near Barcelona, the main stadium of Espanyol, fans chanted "If you don't jump, you're a Muslim" during the friendly match in preparation for the World Cup, which ended in a goalless draw.
Lamine Yamal, a winger for the Spanish national team and a Muslim, stated in a post on Instagram that although he recognizes that the majority of fans do not adopt this behavior, the chants heard were disrespectful and completely unacceptable.
He wrote: "Mocking religion in the stadium makes you look ignorant and racist. Football was created for enjoyment and support, not to insult people because of their identity or beliefs."
Justice Minister Felix Bolaños condemned these chants on the platform X, affirming the leftist government's stance against the rise of the far-right, which it links to increasing racism and xenophobia.
He wrote: "Insults and racist chants bring us shame as a society. The far-right will not leave any space free of its hatred; those who remain silent today are complicit."
The incident highlighted concerns about racism in Spanish football, a recurring issue particularly concerning Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid, who has been targeted in prominent cases.
The stadium displayed messages on the upper screens reminding fans that participation in acts of racism and xenophobia is a crime, but the chants continued nonetheless.
Spain's coach Luis de la Fuente told reporters that the fans' racist behavior is intolerable, according to Reuters. He added: "They do not represent football. They exploit it, as they do in other areas of life. We need to isolate these people from society."
The Spanish Football Association stated in a message on social media that it "stands against racism in football and condemns any act of violence within stadiums."
Catalonia's police announced today (Wednesday) that they have opened an investigation into the incident, without providing further details.
