هاجم نجم إسبانيا لامين يامال السلوك العنصري لبعض جماهير منتخب بلاده خلال المباراة الودية ضد منتخب مصر، أمس (الثلاثاء)، على ملعب آر سي دي إي، معقل نادي إسبانيول بمدينة برشلونة. صافرات وهتافات عنصرية وأطلقت الجماهير الإسبانية صافرات استهجان أثناء عزف النشيد الوطني للمنتخب المصري، تبع ذلك هتافات عنصرية أثارت جدلاً واسعاً. يامال يرد عبر «إنستغرام» وكتب يامال، عبر حسابه على «إنستغرام»: «أنا مسلم، والحمد لله.. بالأمس، في الملعب، سُمع هتاف: «كل من لا يقفز فهو مسلم»، أعلم أنه كان موجهاً للفريق المنافس، وليس موجهاً إليّ شخصياً، ولكن بصفتي مسلماً، أعتبره تصرفاً غير لائق وغير مقبول». رفض واضح للعنصرية وأضاف النجم الإسباني، صاحب الأصول المغربية: «أتفهم أن ليس كل المشجعين كذلك، ولكن لمن يرددون هذه الهتافات: استخدام الدين وسيلة للسخرية في الملعب يدل على جهل وعنصرية، كرة القدم للمتعة والتشجيع، لا للإساءة إلى الناس بسبب هويتهم أو معتقداتهم». وختم نجم برشلونة الشاب رسالته قائلاً: «مع ذلك، شكراً لكل من حضر لدعمنا، أراكم في كأس العالم». Whistles and Racist Chants The Spanish fans whistled in disapproval during the playing of the Egyptian national anthem, followed by racist chants that sparked widespread controversy. Yamal Responds via Instagram Yamal wrote on his Instagram account: "I am Muslim, thank God... Yesterday, in the stadium, a chant was heard: 'Anyone who doesn't jump is a Muslim.' I know it was directed at the opposing team and not at me personally, but as a Muslim, I consider it an inappropriate and unacceptable behavior." Clear Rejection of Racism The Spanish star, of Moroccan descent, added: "I understand that not all fans are like that, but to those who chant these slogans: using religion as a means of mockery in the stadium shows ignorance and racism. Football is for enjoyment and support, not to insult people because of their identity or beliefs." He concluded his message by saying: "Nevertheless, thank you to everyone who came to support us, see you at the World Cup."
