تتجه الحكومة المصرية لرفع أسعار الكهرباء على القطاع التجاري وأعلى شريحة استهلاك منزلي. وذلك بحسب ما أكدت مصادر لقناة «العربية بيزنس».
ووفق المصادر، رفعت مصر أسعار الكهرباء على القطاع التجاري بنسبة تتراوح من 20 – 91%.
وشملت الزيادات كذلك أعلى شرائح الاستهلاك المنزلي، بنسب تراوحت بين 16% و28%، في حين تم تثبيت الأسعار على أول 6 شرائح.
ترشيد الاستهلاك
وخلال الأسبوع الماضي، كشف وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة في مصر محمود عصمت، أنه يجري دراسة أسعار الكهرباء على الفئات المختلفة في مصر ولكن سيتم الإعلان رسمياً حال اتخاذ قرار.
وأضاف الوزير: «نحصل على الغاز المورد لصالح محطات إنتاج الكهرباء بـ 4 دولارات مقارنة بسعره العالمي حالياً».
وناشد عصمت، المواطنين مساعدة الدولة في إجراءات ترشيد الاستهلاك، مشيراً إلى أن الوزارة لم ترفع أسعار الكهرباء منذ عامين، وذلك في ظل التوجيهات الحكومية بعدم زيادة العبء على المواطنين.
وقال إن الوزارة في المقابل تتخذ إجراءات للتكيف مع الأوضاع الراهنة، واتخذت إجراءات لتعظيم كفاءة الطاقة وتقليل معدلات الاستهلاك.
تقليل الفقد
وأشار إلى أن الحكومة تتحمل جزءًا كبيرًا في الاعتمادات المطلوبة لتوفير الطاقة المتجددة، لافتًا إلى تخصيص 160 مليار جنيه لتوصيل الطاقات المتجددة بالشبكة.
ولفت الوزير إلى مجموعة من الإجراءات التي اتخذتها الوزارة لتقليل نسبة الفقد، والتي ساهمت في انخفاضها بأكثر من 16% خلال العامين الماضيين.
ونوه إلى أن قطاع الكهرباء يستهلك ما بين 58% إلى 60% من إجمالي استهلاك الغاز الطبيعي في مصر، ما يجعله أحد أكبر القطاعات اعتمادًا على موارد الطاقة.

Last week, the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy in Egypt, Mahmoud Asmat, revealed that a study is being conducted on electricity prices for different categories in Egypt, but an official announcement will be made once a decision is taken.
The minister added: “We receive the gas supplied for electricity generation at $4 compared to its current global price.”
Asmat urged citizens to assist the state in consumption rationalization measures, noting that the ministry has not raised electricity prices for two years, in line with government directives to avoid increasing the burden on citizens.
He stated that the ministry, in turn, is taking measures to adapt to the current situation and has implemented actions to maximize energy efficiency and reduce consumption rates.
Reducing Losses
He pointed out that the government bears a significant portion of the required allocations to provide renewable energy, noting that 160 billion Egyptian pounds have been allocated to connect renewable energies to the grid.
The minister highlighted a set of measures taken by the ministry to reduce the percentage of losses, which have contributed to a decrease of more than 16% over the past two years.
He noted that the electricity sector consumes between 58% to 60% of the total natural gas consumption in Egypt, making it one of the largest sectors dependent on energy resources.
