استدعت وزارة الخارجية سفيرة جمهورية العراق لدى المملكة صفية طالب السهيل، وذلك على خلفية استمرار الاعتداءات والتهديدات السافرة التي طالت المملكة ودول الخليج الشقيقة عبر مسيرات انطلقت من الأراضي العراقية. وشدد وكيل الوزارة للشؤون السياسية السفير الدكتور سعود الساطي خلال تسليم سفيرة العراق مذكرة الاحتجاج على إدانة واستنكار المملكة للاعتداءات الصادرة من الأراضي العراقية تجاه المملكة ودول الخليج، مؤكدًا أهمية أن يتعامل العراق بمسؤولية مع تلك التهديدات والاعتداءات، ومجددًا رفض المملكة القاطع لانتهاك سيادة الدول ومحاولة تهديد أمن واستقرار المنطقة، كما أكد أن المملكة ستتخذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة للذود عن أمنها وحماية أراضيها. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom, Safia Taleb al-Suhail, in light of the ongoing assaults and blatant threats directed at the Kingdom and the sister Gulf countries through marches that originated from Iraqi territory. The Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, emphasized during the delivery of the protest note to the Iraqi Ambassador the Kingdom's condemnation and denunciation of the assaults originating from Iraqi territory towards the Kingdom and the Gulf countries. He affirmed the importance of Iraq dealing responsibly with these threats and assaults, reiterating the Kingdom's firm rejection of violations of state sovereignty and attempts to threaten the security and stability of the region. He also confirmed that the Kingdom will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territory.
