أكد مدرب الاتحاد سيرجيو كونسيساو جاهزية فريقه لمواجهة الوحدة الإماراتي، مشدداً على أهمية تحقيق الفوز والتعامل مع كل مباراة بشكل منفصل ضمن مشوار الفريق في دوري أبطال آسيا لأندية النخبة.

وأوضح كونسيساو في المؤتمر الصحفي أن الاتحاد يدخل اللقاء برغبة قوية في الانتصار، مع تركيز كامل على المواجهة القادمة، قائلاً إن الجهاز الفني يعمل على تجهيز الفريق ذهنياً وفنياً دون الالتفات إلى ما هو أبعد من المباراة الحالية.

وكشف كونسيساو تحديات واجهت الفريق أخيراً، مبيناً أنهم طالبوا بتدعيم خط الوسط خلال معسكر دبي تحسباً للإصابات، وهو ما حدث بالفعل بإصابة اللاعب دومبيا، إلى جانب رحيل نغولو كانتي، مؤكداً أن بعض الأندية المنافسة في البطولة تمتلك خيارات أوسع.

وأضاف: «المباراة ستكون صعبة بين الفريقين، وقد استعددنا لها بشكل جيد، ونسعى لإسعاد جماهيرنا التي لم تبخل علينا بالدعم في الفترة الماضية»، مؤكداً أن المواجهة لن تكون سهلة وتتطلب تركيزاً عالياً طوال مجرياتها.

Conceição explained in the press conference that Al Ittihad enters the match with a strong desire to win, with full focus on the upcoming encounter, stating that the coaching staff is working to prepare the team mentally and technically without looking beyond the current match.

He revealed the challenges the team has faced recently, indicating that they requested to strengthen the midfield during the Dubai camp in anticipation of injuries, which indeed happened with the injury of player Doumbia, in addition to the departure of N'Golo Kanté, confirming that some competing clubs in the tournament have broader options.
