في أول رد على واقعة إضرام مواطن مصري النيران بكشك خاص به بمركز ومدينة القصاصين الجديدة، أكدت محافطة الإسماعيلية أن الكشك غير مرخص وصدرت بحقه قرارات إزالة سابقة ونُفذت بالفعل لمخالفته القانون. وقالت المحافظة في بيان رسمي، اليوم (الخميس)، إن الكشك مقام منذ عام 2014 وحتى تاريخه، وتم تحرير عدة محاضر ضده، وصادرة له قرارات إزالة رقم 110 لسنة 2019، ورقم 41 لسنة 2023، مؤكدة أنه تمت إزالته من قبل وإدراجه في أقرب حملة إزالة مكبرة. وأوضح البيان، أنه برغم ذلك وجه محافظ الإسماعيلية اللواء نبيل حسب الله بتوفير البديل القانوني له، ووقع بالموافقة على تخصيص محل تجاري تابع للوحدة المحلية لمركز ومدينة القصاصين الجديدة، مقابل إيجار شهري 300 جنيه. وأشار البيان إلى أن المواطن الذي ظهر بالفيديو، عرض شكواه على المحافظ خلال اللقاء الأسبوعي للمواطنين يوم الأربعاء الماضي، مطالباً باستثنائه من تطبيق القانون وعدم إزالة الكشك الخاص به «غير مرخص». وأكدت المحافظة أنها أطلقت حملة «شارع منظم.. رصيف آمن»؛ بهدف استعادة حق المواطن المشروع في رصيف آمن ومسار مروري غير متكدس، وهي تُطبّق على الجميع دون استثناء، مؤكدة أن تلك الحملة لم تنطلق بعد بمركز ومدينة القصاصين الجديدة. In the first response to the incident of an Egyptian citizen setting fire to his kiosk in the city of Al-Qasasin Al-Jadida, the Ismailia Governorate confirmed that the kiosk is unlicensed and has previously been subject to demolition orders, which were indeed executed for violating the law. The governorate stated in an official statement today (Thursday) that the kiosk has been in place since 2014 to date, and several reports have been filed against it. Demolition orders number 110 for the year 2019 and number 41 for the year 2023 were issued against it, confirming that it had been removed before and included in the next large-scale demolition campaign. The statement clarified that despite this, the Ismailia Governor, Major General Nabil Hasballah, directed to provide a legal alternative for him, and he approved the allocation of a commercial shop belonging to the local unit of the city of Al-Qasasin Al-Jadida, in exchange for a monthly rent of 300 Egyptian pounds. The statement noted that the citizen who appeared in the video presented his complaint to the governor during the weekly citizens' meeting last Wednesday, requesting to be exempted from the application of the law and not to have his "unlicensed" kiosk removed. The governorate confirmed that it has launched the campaign "Organized Street.. Safe Sidewalk"; aimed at restoring the citizen's legitimate right to a safe sidewalk and an uncongested traffic path, which is applied to everyone without exception, emphasizing that this campaign has not yet been launched in the city of Al-Qasasin Al-Jadida.
