تلقى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز اتصالا هاتفيا من الرئيس الصيني شي حين بينغ. وبحسب وكالة شنخوا الصينية أكد الرئيس بينغ لولي العهد أن بلاده تولي أهمية كبيرة لتطوير العلاقات مع المملكة، والتأكيد على مبادئ الاحترام المتبادل والمنفعة المتبادلة والحفاظ على المرور الطبيعي عبر مضيق هرمز، لافتا إلى دعم بلاده الوقف الفوري والشامل لإطلاق النار وحل الصراعات في الشرق الأوسط عبر القنوات السياسية والدبلوماسية.
وأشار الرئيس الصيني إلى أن العام 2026 يصادف الذكرى العاشرة للشراكة الإستراتيجية الشاملة بين الصين والمملكة. وقال إن بلاده على استعداد للعمل مع السعودية لاغتنام هذه الفرصة لتعميق الثقة الإستراتيجية المتبادلة، وتعزيز التعاون العملي، وتحسين التبادلات على جميع المستويات، من أجل توسيع نطاق العلاقات الثنائية وجعلها مثالاً يحتذى به في تطوير العلاقات بين الصين والدول العربية.
وفيما يتعلق بالوضع الراهن في الشرق الأوسط ومنطقة الخليج، أكد شي أن الصين تدعو إلى وقف فوري وشامل لإطلاق النار ووقف الأعمال العدائية، ودعم جميع الجهود التي تؤدي إلى استعادة السلام، وتبقى ملتزمة بحل النزاعات من خلال الوسائل السياسية والدبلوماسية.
