توقف قلب الفنانة الكويتية حياة الفهد عن النبض في الساعات الأولى من صباح اليوم (الثلاثاء)، معلنا عن رحيل "ذاكرة الدراما الخليجية"، لتطوي صفحةً مضيئةً من تاريخ الفن الخليجي، بعد مسيرة عطاء امتدت لأكثر من خمسين عامًا، قدّمت خلالها تجربة فنية متكاملة جمعت بين التمثيل والكتابة والإنتاج، وعبّرت من خلالها عن قضايا المجتمع الخليجي بطرح واقعي وعمق لافت.
وجاء إعلان الوفاة عبر الحساب الرسمي لـ«مؤسسة الفهد للإنتاج الفني»، في بيان نعى الراحلة، معبرًا عن الحزن لفقدان إحدى القامات الفنية البارزة، ومؤكدًا أن أثرها سيبقى حاضرًا في وجدان الأجيال.
ورغم تقدمها في السن، حافظت على حضورها الفني، وواصلت المشاركة في الأعمال الرمضانية حتى سنواتها الأخيرة، مقدّمة أداءً يعكس خبرة طويلة وشغفًا مستمرًا. وكان ظهورها الأخير بمثابة محطة ختامية هادئة، قبل أن تُبعدها ظروفها الصحية عن الساحة الفنية.
ومن أبرز محطاتها أعمال رسخت حضورها في ذاكرة الجمهور، مثل «خالتي قماشة» و«رقية وسبيكة» و«الفرية»، إلى جانب أعمال درامية مؤثرة، منها «أم البنات» و«جرح الزمن».

The announcement of her death came via the official account of the "Al-Fahad Foundation for Artistic Production," in a statement mourning the deceased, expressing sorrow for the loss of one of the prominent artistic figures, and affirming that her impact will remain present in the hearts of generations.
Despite her advancing age, she maintained her artistic presence and continued to participate in Ramadan works until her later years, delivering performances that reflected long experience and ongoing passion. Her last appearance was a quiet concluding station before health circumstances removed her from the artistic scene.
Among her most notable works that solidified her presence in the audience's memory are "Khalti Qumasha," "Ruqayya and Sabika," and "Al-Fariyah," in addition to impactful dramatic works, including "Umm Al-Banat" and "Jirh Al-Zaman."
