أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية واستنكارها بأشد العبارات للاستهداف الإيراني -عبر صواريخ وطائرات مسيّرة- لمنشآت مدنية واقتصادية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الشقيقة ولناقلة تابعة لشركة إماراتية. وقالت الوزارة في بيان لها: «المملكة تؤكد وقوفها إلى جانب دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الشقيقة في ما تتخذه من إجراءات للحفاظ على سيادتها وأمنها وسلامة أراضيها، وتدعو الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية إلى وقف هذه الاعتداءات والالتزام بمبادئ القانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة واحترام مبادئ حسن الجوار». The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the Iranian targeting - via missiles and drones - of civilian and economic facilities in the sisterly United Arab Emirates and of a tanker belonging to an Emirati company. The ministry stated in a statement: "The Kingdom reaffirms its support for the sisterly United Arab Emirates in the measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, and calls on the Islamic Republic of Iran to cease these aggressions and adhere to the principles of international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, as well as to respect the principles of good neighborliness."
