تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود تقام يوم الجمعة القادم الموافق 8 مايو 2026، المباراة النهائية على كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين للموسم الرياضي 2025 - 2026، بين فريقي الخلود والهلال، وذلك على ملعب الإنماء بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية في جدة. وبهذه المناسبة، رفع وزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل، الشكر والامتنان لخادم الحرمين الشريفين على رعايته الكريمة لهذا الحدث الرياضي الكبير. وقال: «أتقدم بعظيم الشكر والعرفان لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود على رعايته الكريمة لهذا النهائي الكبير، الذي يجسّد اهتمامه بالقطاع الرياضي، كما أتقدم أيضًا بالشكر والامتنان لسيدي صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء على الدعم السخي وغير المسبوق للرياضة السعودية، الذي يعد دافعًا إضافيًّا لمواصلة البناء، والاستمرار في مسيرة تطوير هذا القطاع الحيوي المهم، ورفع سقف الطموحات نحو تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030». وقدّم وزير الرياضة، التهنئة لفريقي الخلود والهلال على بلوغهما المباراة النهائية، متمنيًا لهما التوفيق في تقديم مباراة تليق بقيمة واسم هذه المناسبة الغالية، وتعكس ما تشهده كرة القدم السعودية من تطور فني وتنافس رياضي مميز.
