تواصل أمانة منطقة عسير تنفيذ مشروع أنسنة وتأهيل طريق الأمير منصور بن مقرن، الذي يهدف إلى رفع كفاءة الطريق وتحسين مستوى السلامة المرورية، وتعزيز جودة الحياة من خلال تطوير البيئة الحضرية المحيطة. ويتضمن المشروع إعادة تأهيل الجزيرة الوسطية وتحسينها، مع تعديل مواقع اليوتيرنات ورفع كفاءتها بما يسهم في انسيابية الحركة المرورية، كما يشمل تطوير جانبي الطريق، وتنفيذ أعمال توسعة، وإعادة السفلتة، وتحسين الدهانات الأرضية والعلامات المرورية. ويشتمل المشروع كذلك على إنشاء 3 بلازات حضرية، وربطها بممشى ومسار مخصص للدراجات، بما يعزز من عناصر الأنسنة ويوفر بيئة ترفيهية آمنة للمستفيدين، فيما تتواصل الأعمال الميدانية حالياً بإعادة تأهيل الجزيرة الوسطية وتقليل عرضها من 16م إلى 5م، إلى جانب تعديل 2 يوتيرن وإنشاء يوتيرن مزدوج الوجه (Double Face)، بينما تم الانتهاء من أعمال أول كيلو متر، والتي شملت الأعمال الترابية وتجهيز الموقع لصب البردورات المنزلقة واستكمال أعمال التطوير والتأهيل. The Municipality of Asir Region continues to implement the Humanization and Rehabilitation Project for Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Road, which aims to enhance the road's efficiency, improve traffic safety, and enhance the quality of life by developing the surrounding urban environment. The project includes the rehabilitation and improvement of the median island, along with modifying the locations of the u-turns and increasing their efficiency to contribute to smoother traffic flow. It also encompasses the development of the road sides, carrying out expansion works, resurfacing, and improving ground markings and traffic signs. Additionally, the project includes the creation of 3 urban plazas, connecting them with a walkway and a dedicated bike path, which enhances humanization elements and provides a safe recreational environment for users. Currently, fieldwork is ongoing to rehabilitate the median island, reducing its width from 16m to 5m, along with modifying 2 u-turns and creating a double-faced u-turn. The works for the first kilometer have been completed, which included earthworks, preparing the site for pouring the sliding curbs, and completing development and rehabilitation works.
