سيطر الجيش السوداني اليوم (السبت) على منطقة الكيلي قرب مدينة الكرمك بالمحور الجنوبي من ولاية النيل الأزرق. ووفقاً لبيان للجيش فإن النجاحات العسكرية جاءت بعد عمليات بطولية ضد قوات «الدعم السريع» وقوات نائب الحركة الشعبية لتحرير السودان-شمال جوزيف توكا.
وقال الجيش السوداني في بيان: «قوات الفرقة الرابعة مشاة والقوات المساندة لها تمكنت من تحرير منطقة الكيلي الواقعة على تخوم مدينة الكرمك بالمحور الجنوبي بعد معارك بطولية ضد الدعم السريع وقوات المتمرد جوزيف توكا، وكبدت المتمردين خسائر فادحة في الأرواح والعتاد، فيما فر من تبقى منهم هاربين»، مضيفاً: «الفرقة الرابعة مشاة تستمر في العمليات العسكرية حتى تطهر كامل مناطق المسؤولية، ودحر التمرد، وتأمين الحدود، وتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار».
وعرضت القوات المسلحة السودانية مقطع فيديو يؤكد عملية السيطرة والتقدّم لقواتها نحو منطقة الكيلي بمحافظة الكرمك، التي تم تطهيرها من قوات الدعم السريع.
وتعد منطقة الكيلي واحدة من عشرات البلدات على الطريق إلى مدينة الدمازين، عاصمة ولاية النيل الأزرق، التي تحاذي إثيوبيا وجنوب السودان.
وتحولت ولاية النيل الأزرق إلى واحدة من أهم جبهات المواجهة في الحرب الدائرة بين الجيش السوداني والدعم السريع.
وكان رئيس مجلس السيادة الانتقالي السوداني القائد العام للقوات المسلحة الفريق أول الركن عبد الفتاح البرهان أكد الجمعة أنه «لا تفاوض ولا سلام» مع قوات الدعم السريع، موضحاً أنه «لا أحد يستطيع فرض حلول لا ترضي السودانيين».
ولفت إلى أن العاصمة الخرطوم آمنة ومطمئنة وستظل كذلك.
The Sudanese army today (Saturday) took control of the Kili area near the city of Kurmuk in the southern axis of the Blue Nile state. According to a statement from the army, the military successes came after heroic operations against the "Rapid Support Forces" and the forces of the Deputy of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North, Joseph Toka.

The Sudanese Armed Forces presented a video clip confirming the control and advance of its forces towards the Kili area in the Kurmuk district, which has been cleared of the Rapid Support Forces.
The Kili area is one of dozens of towns on the road to the city of Damazin, the capital of the Blue Nile state, which borders Ethiopia and South Sudan.
The Blue Nile state has become one of the most important fronts in the ongoing war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.
On Friday, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, confirmed that "there will be no negotiations or peace" with the Rapid Support Forces, explaining that "no one can impose solutions that do not satisfy the Sudanese people."
He pointed out that the capital, Khartoum, is safe and secure and will remain so.
