تستعد عدة دول أوروبية لتنفيذ عمليات إجلاء عاجلة لرعاياها من سفينة سياحية تحولت خلال أيام إلى بؤرة صحية مقلقة، بعد تفشي فايروس «هانتا» على متنها، بينما تواصل السفينة الإبحار باتجاه السواحل الإسبانية وسط حالة استنفار دولية وإجراءات احترازية مشددة. وأعلن وزير الداخلية الإسباني فرناندو جراندي مارلاسكا أن ألمانيا وفرنسا وبلجيكا وإيرلندا وهولندا قررت إرسال طائرات خاصة لإجلاء مواطنيها، فيما خصص الاتحاد الأوروبي طائرتين إضافيتين لنقل بقية الركاب الأوروبيين. كما تعمل الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا على إعداد خطط طوارئ مماثلة، تشمل إرسال رحلات خاصة لإجلاء رعاياهما، إضافة إلى مواطنين من دول لا تملك إمكانات تنظيم عمليات إجلاء مستقلة. وأكد الوزير الإسباني أن الركاب لن يُسمح لهم بحمل سوى الأغراض الأساسية، بينما ستبقى بقية الأمتعة، إلى جانب جثمان الراكب المتوفى، داخل السفينة قبل نقلها لاحقاً إلى هولندا لإجراء عمليات تعقيم شاملة. وأشار إلى أن المواطنين الإسبان سيغادرون أولاً، على أن تحدد السلطات الصحية لاحقاً أولوية إجلاء باقي الجنسيات وفقاً للحالة الطبية لكل راكب والإجراءات الوقائية المعتمدة. وشدد جراندي مارلاسكا على أن مغادرة أي راكب لن تتم إلا بالتزامن مع جاهزية طائرة الإجلاء الخاصة به للإقلاع فوراً، في محاولة لمنع أي اختلاط قد يؤدي إلى انتقال العدوى خارج السفينة. Several European countries are preparing to carry out urgent evacuation operations for their nationals from a cruise ship that has turned into a concerning health hotspot within days, following an outbreak of the "Hanta" virus on board, while the ship continues to sail towards the Spanish coast amid international alert and strict precautionary measures. Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska announced that Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, and the Netherlands have decided to send special planes to evacuate their citizens, while the European Union has allocated two additional planes to transport the remaining European passengers. The United States and the United Kingdom are also working on preparing similar emergency plans, which include sending special flights to evacuate their nationals, in addition to citizens from countries that do not have the capacity to organize independent evacuation operations. The Spanish minister confirmed that passengers will only be allowed to carry essential items, while the rest of the luggage, along with the body of the deceased passenger, will remain on the ship before being transported later to the Netherlands for comprehensive disinfection operations. He noted that Spanish citizens will leave first, and health authorities will later determine the priority for evacuating other nationalities based on the medical condition of each passenger and the preventive measures in place. Grande-Marlaska emphasized that the departure of any passenger will only occur in conjunction with the readiness of their evacuation plane to take off immediately, in an attempt to prevent any mixing that could lead to the transmission of infection outside the ship.
