جرّدت محكمة الجنايات الرابعة في دمشق، اليوم (الأحد)، أبرز رموز النظام السوري السابق من حقوقهم المدنية، ووضعت أملاكهم المنقولة وغير المنقولة تحت إدارة الحكومة السورية. قائمة المتهمين المجردين من ممتلكاتهم وشملت قائمة المتهمين كلاً من الرئيس السابق بشار الأسد، وشقيقه ماهر الأسد، ووزير الدفاع السابق فهد الفريج، والضباط السابقين محمد عيوش، ولؤي العلي، وقصي ميهوب، ووفيق ناصر، وطلال العسيمي. وجرى إعلان القرار خلال جلسة اليوم استكمالاً لجلسة أبريل الماضي، حيث صدر الحكم غيابياً بعد أن جرى تبليغهم بالحضور لجلسة المحكمة والمثول أمام القضاء في التهم الموجهة إليهم، واعتبارهم فاريّن. الجلسة الثانية لمحاكمة نجيب بدأت الجلسة الثانية من محاكمة عاطف نجيب، المسؤول الأمني السابق أمام محكمة الجنايات الرابعة في القصر العدلي بدمشق بحضور ذوي الضحايا، وعدد من أعضاء الهيئة الوطنية للعدالة الانتقالية. وركزت جلسة المحاكمة بشكل أساسي على استجواب المتهم عاطف نجيب، وعرض النيابة للتهم المنسوبة إليه. وحضر الجلسة عائلات الضحايا، وعدد من أعضاء "الهيئة الوطنية للعدالة الانتقالية"، وممثلون عن منظمات قانونية وإنسانية دولية. وتضمنت لائحة الاتهام الموجهة لعاطف نجيب، قمع الاحتجاجات السلمية في درعا، والتسبب في تعرض معتقلين، بينهم قاصرون، للتعذيب الجسدي، بما في ذلك قلع الأظافر والصعق الكهربائي وتهديد ذويهم، واستخدام القوة المفرطة خلال عمليات الاعتقال. وشملت الاتهامات استخدام الاعتقال كوسيلة ابتزاز، وإصدار أوامر مباشرة بالتوقيف والتعذيب بصفته المسؤول الأول عن فرع الأمن السياسي في درعا، إضافة إلى مسؤوليته عن "مجزرة الجامع العمري". وتطرقت الجلسة إلى ممارسات التعذيب داخل مراكز الاحتجاز التابعة للأمن السياسي في درعا، مع التأكيد على مسؤوليته القيادية عن تلك الانتهاكات. وقف البث المباشر من المحكمة وأصدر قاضي المحكمة قراراً بوقف البث المباشر لوسائل الإعلام من داخل قاعة المحكمة، خلال جلسة محاكمة عاطف نجيب، نظراً لعرض أسئلة ووثائق تتضمن أسماء شهود محميين ومعلومات حساسة. وطلبت المحكمة من ممثلي وسائل الإعلام مغادرة القاعة، على أن تبقى الجلسة علنية "بمن حضر" من ممثلي الادعاء والنيابة العامة، فيما تتولى وزارة العدل تسجيل وقائع الجلسة. وبحسب القرار، سيتم إتاحة التسجيلات بعد مراجعتها وحذف أسماء الشهود والمواد السرية، على أن تعرض فقط على المتهم والحاضرين داخل الجلسة. من جانبه ، أفاد رئيس الهيئة الوطنية للعدالة الانتقالية عبد الباسط عبد اللطيف، بأن جلسة استجواب عاطف نجيب، تأتي في إطار مسار المساءلة عن الانتهاكات والجرائم الجسيمة المرتكبة بحق السوريين. The trial session focused primarily on questioning the defendant Atef Najib and the prosecution's presentation of the charges against him. Victims' families, several members of the "National Commission for Transitional Justice," and representatives from international legal and humanitarian organizations attended the session. The indictment against Atef Najib included suppressing peaceful protests in Daraa and causing detainees, including minors, to be subjected to physical torture, including nail extraction, electric shocks, and threats to their families, as well as using excessive force during arrest operations. The charges also included using detention as a means of extortion and issuing direct orders for arrest and torture in his capacity as the primary responsible for the Political Security Branch in Daraa, in addition to his responsibility for the "Al-Omari Mosque Massacre." The session addressed torture practices inside detention centers affiliated with political security in Daraa, emphasizing his leadership responsibility for those violations. Suspension of Live Broadcasting from the Court The court judge issued a decision to suspend live broadcasting by media outlets from inside the courtroom during the trial session of Atef Najib, due to the presentation of questions and documents containing the names of protected witnesses and sensitive information. The court requested media representatives to leave the courtroom, while the session remained public "for those present" from the prosecution and public prosecution, with the Ministry of Justice recording the proceedings of the session. According to the decision, the recordings will be made available after reviewing and deleting the names of witnesses and confidential materials, to be shown only to the defendant and those present in the session. For his part, the head of the National Commission for Transitional Justice, Abdul Basit Abdul Latif, stated that the questioning session of Atef Najib is part of the accountability process for the violations and grave crimes committed against Syrians.
