حدد مجلس النواب العراقي، يوم غد (الخميس)، موعداً لجلسة التصويت على منح الثقة للحكومة الجديدة برئاسة علي الزيدي، وسط حراك سياسي مكثف واجتماعات متواصلة بين القوى والأطراف السياسية لحسم عدد من الملفات المتعلقة بالتشكيلة الوزارية وآلية توزيع المناصب.
وكشفت مصادر سياسية أن الساعات الأخيرة شهدت تقارباً بين عدد من الكتل السياسية بشأن تمرير أغلب أسماء الوزراء، فيما لا تزال بعض الحقائب محل نقاش، بسبب خلافات تتعلق بالتوازنات السياسية والاستحقاقات بين القوى المشاركة في الحكومة.
وحسب المصادر، فإن القوى السياسية تسعى إلى تمرير الحكومة بأكبر قدر من التوافق داخل قبة مجلس النواب، لتجنب تأجيل الجلسة أو ترحيل بعض الوزارات إلى مراحل لاحقة، خصوصاً مع وجود ضغوط تتعلق بالإسراع في تشكيل الحكومة واستكمال مؤسسات الدولة.
ويتوقع أن تشهد الجلسة حضوراً سياسياً واسعاً، بالتزامن مع إجراءات أمنية وتنظيمية خاصة داخل المنطقة الخضراء ومحيط مبنى البرلمان، فيما تترقب الأوساط السياسية والشعبية مخرجات الجلسة وما ستؤول إليه عملية التصويت على الحكومة الجديدة.
وكان رئيس الوزراء العراقي المكلف علي الزيدي قدم البرنامج الوزاري الخاص بالحكومة الجديدة إلى رئيس مجلس النواب هيبت الحلبوسي، خلال لقاء جمعهما، في العاصمة بغداد، في السابع من شهر مايو الجاري.
وأكد الجانبان أهمية التعاون والتنسيق المشترك للمضي بإكمال استحقاق منح الثقة للحكومة ومنهاجها الوزاري بوصفه الركيزة الأساسية التي تبني عليها الحكومة عملها وواجباتها، استناداً إلى السياقات الدستورية والقانونية.
The Iraqi Parliament has set tomorrow (Thursday) as the date for the voting session on granting confidence to the new government headed by Ali Al-Zaydi, amid intense political activity and ongoing meetings among political forces and parties to resolve several issues related to the ministerial formation and the mechanism for distributing positions.
Political sources revealed that the last few hours have seen a rapprochement among several political blocs regarding the passage of most ministerial names, while some portfolios remain under discussion due to disagreements related to political balances and entitlements among the participating forces in the government.
According to the sources, the political forces are seeking to pass the government with as much consensus as possible within the Parliament, to avoid postponing the session or deferring some ministries to later stages, especially with pressures related to expediting the formation of the government and completing state institutions.
The session is expected to witness broad political attendance, alongside special security and organizational measures within the Green Zone and around the Parliament building, while political and public circles are awaiting the outcomes of the session and the results of the voting on the new government.
The designated Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi presented the ministerial program for the new government to the Speaker of the Parliament, Mohammed Al-Halbousi, during a meeting held in the capital Baghdad on May 7 of this month.
Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation and joint coordination to proceed with completing the entitlement of granting confidence to the government and its ministerial program, as it is the fundamental pillar upon which the government builds its work and duties, based on constitutional and legal frameworks.
