تواصل أمانة منطقة عسير تنفيذ منظومة متكاملة من المشاريع الحضرية والتنموية بمدينتي أبها وخميس مشيط، ساعية إلى الارتقاء بجودة الحياة وتحديث البنية التحتية، وإثراء الفضاءات العامة بما يليق بتطلعات أبناء المنطقة وضيوفها. وتتصدر المشهد في أبها مشاريع تطوير شبكة من الطرق الرئيسية، وفي مقدمتها طرق الأمير سلطان، والشيخ جابر الأحمد الصباح، والأمير منصور بن مقرن، ومرحباً ألف، وأبو هريرة، فضلاً عن مشروع إعادة تأهيل حديقة الأندلس وتطويرها لتكون وجهةً أكثر جذباً وحيوية لأهالي المدينة وزوارها، كما امتدت أعمال التطوير لتشمل سفلتة عدد من الطرق الحيوية، أبرزها طرق بني مالك، وأبها - خميس مشيط، والسودة والوادي الطالع، وأبها - الطائف. أما خميس مشيط، فتواصل الأمانة تنفيذ حزمة من المشاريع التنموية المتنوعة، تشمل أعمال الرصف وتأهيل الطرق، ومشاريع الأنسنة، وإعادة إحياء الحدائق والمرافق البلدية، وقد أثمرت هذه الجهود عن تسليم عدد من المشاريع المنجزة، فيما تمضي بقية المشاريع نحو اكتمالها بخطى ثابتة ومتواصلة. وأوضح أمين منطقة عسير المهندس عبدالله الجالي أن المشاريع الجاري تنفيذها تأتي ثمرة لمنهجية عمل استباقية ترتكز على دراسات متأنية وخطط محكمة، تستهدف بناء بيئات عمرانية متكاملة ترقى إلى أعلى مستويات التطوير الحضري، وتُرسّخ مسيرة التنمية المستدامة. The Secretariat of the Asir Region continues to implement a comprehensive system of urban and developmental projects in the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait, aiming to enhance the quality of life, modernize infrastructure, and enrich public spaces in a manner that meets the aspirations of the region's residents and its visitors. Leading the scene in Abha are projects to develop a network of main roads, including Prince Sultan Road, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Road, Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Road, Marhaba Alf Road, and Abu Huraira Road. Additionally, there is a project to rehabilitate and develop Al-Andalus Park to make it a more attractive and vibrant destination for the city's residents and visitors. The development efforts have also extended to the paving of several vital roads, most notably Bani Malik Roads, Abha - Khamis Mushait Road, Al-Soudah and Al-Wadi Al-Tali Road, and Abha - Taif Road. As for Khamis Mushait, the Secretariat continues to implement a package of diverse developmental projects, including paving and road rehabilitation works, humanization projects, and the revitalization of parks and municipal facilities. These efforts have resulted in the completion of several projects, while the remaining projects are progressing steadily and continuously towards completion. The Secretary of the Asir Region, Engineer Abdullah Al-Jali, clarified that the ongoing projects are the result of a proactive work methodology based on careful studies and well-structured plans, aiming to build integrated urban environments that reach the highest levels of urban development and solidify the path of sustainable development.
