تُوِّج فريق مانشستر سيتي بطلاً لكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي لموسم 2025-2026، عقب فوزه على تشلسي بهدف دون رد، مساء السبت، في النهائي الذي احتضنه ملعب ويمبلي.

وظهر مانشستر سيتي بصورة الفريق الأكثر استقراراً وخبرة طوال مجريات اللقاء، فارضاً أسلوبه المعتاد في الاستحواذ والتحكم بإيقاع المباراة، أمام محاولات متكررة من تشلسي للعودة إلى أجواء النهائي.

وجاء هدف المباراة الوحيد عند الدقيقة 72 عبر الغاني أنطوان سيمينيو، الذي استغل عرضية متقنة ليحول الكرة إلى الشباك بلمسة فنية رائعة بالكعب، في لقطة خطفت الأنظار ومنحت السيتي أفضلية ثمينة حافظ عليها حتى صافرة النهاية.

ويؤكد هذا التتويج استمرار المشروع الناجح الذي يقوده المدرب، بعدما أضاف الفريق ثاني ألقابه المحلية هذا الموسم عقب تتويجه سابقاً بلقب كأس رابطة الدوري «كاراباو»، مواصلاً حضوره القوي في مختلف البطولات الإنجليزية.

كما رفع مانشستر سيتي رصيده إلى 8 ألقاب في بطولة كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي، ليحقق لقبه الأول في المسابقة منذ عام 2023.

Manchester City was crowned the champion of the FA Cup for the 2025-2026 season, following their victory over Chelsea with a score of 1-0 on Saturday evening, in the final held at Wembley Stadium.

Manchester City appeared as the more stable and experienced team throughout the match, imposing their usual style of possession and controlling the pace of the game, despite repeated attempts from Chelsea to get back into the final.

The only goal of the match came in the 72nd minute from Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo, who took advantage of a precise cross to convert the ball into the net with a brilliant backheel touch, in a moment that caught the eye and gave City a valuable lead that they maintained until the final whistle.

This victory confirms the continuation of the successful project led by the coach, as the team added their second domestic title this season after previously winning the Carabao Cup, continuing their strong presence in various English competitions.

Manchester City also raised their tally to 8 titles in the FA Cup, achieving their first title in the competition since 2023.
