من قلب الرياض إلى منارات كوالالمبور وفي تظاهرة حضارية تعكس تنامي الأثر الثقافي السعودي على الساحة الدولية وتجسد عمق الروابط الإنسانية والمعرفية، دشّنت هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة جناح المملكة العربية السعودية ضيف شرف لمعرض كوالالمبور الدولي للكتاب الذي يفتح أبوابه لجمهور المعرفة في الفترة الممتدة من التاسع والعشرين من مايو وحتى السابع من يونيو. وتأتي هذه المشاركة الاستثنائية لِتَمُدَّ جسوراً جديدة من التفاهم الإنساني في قارة آسيا، مستندة إلى إرث عريق وتطلعات واعدة صاغتها رؤية المملكة 2030، لتقدم للعالم نموذجاً حضارياً حياً يمزج بين أصالة الجذور ومعاصرة الأجنحة. وقد شهد حفل افتتاح الجناح حضوراً دبلوماسياً وثقافياً رفيع المستوى يتقدمه الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز الواصل، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى ماليزيا أسامة بن داخل الأحمدي، ودولة رئيس وزراء ماليزيا داتوء سري أنور بن إبراهيم، ووزير التعليم الماليزي فاضلينا صديق. وفي كلمة تعكس أبعاد هذا المنجز، أكد الدكتور عبداللطيف الواصل أن اختيار المملكة ضيف شرف لهذا المحفل الآسيوي العريق ما هو إلا ثمرة يانعة للعلاقات الثقافية المتينة بين البلدين، وتقديراً للمكانة الفاعلة التي تبوأتها المملكة إقليمياً ودولياً، مشيراً إلى أن هذا التواجد يمثل نافذة استثنائية لإطلاع الجمهور الماليزي والآسيوي على ثراء الثقافة السعودية وعراقتها. كما رفع الواصل أسمى آيات الشكر والامتنان إلى وزير الثقافة الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان، مثمناً دعمه اللامحدود للقطاعات الثقافية وتوجيهاته السديدة التي مكنتها من رسم ملامح المشهد الثقافي المعاصر، وتوجّه ببالغ الثناء لرئيس وزراء ماليزيا، ووزير التعليم على ما وجده الوفد السعودي من كرم وفادة وحسن استقبال يترجمان عمق الاحترام المتبادل بين الشعبين. وتقود هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة هذا الحراك الثقافي في كوالالمبور بمشاركة وفد وطني موسع يضم نخبة من الهيئات والجهات الحكومية التي تتكامل لتقديم لوحة سعودية شاملة، حيث تشارك هيئة التراث وهيئة الموسيقى وهيئة الأفلام وهيئة فنون الطهي وهيئة الأزياء، إلى جانب جهات وطنية بارزة تشمل وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد، ومجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف، ومكتبة الملك فهد الوطنية، ومكتبة الملك عبدالعزيز العامة، ومجمع الملك سلمان العالمي للغة العربية، ووزارة العدل، وشركة ناشر للنشر والتوزيع، بهدف فتح نافذة معرفية متكاملة أمام زوار المعرض. ويُبحر الجناح السعودي بزوار المعرض في رحلة إبداعية متكاملة تنسجها الهيئة عبر برنامج ثقافي ثري، يضم ندوات فكرية عميقة وأمسيات شعرية تُحلق بأصوات نخبة من الأدباء والشعراء السعوديين وتنساب في أرجائه نغمات الأرض عبر عروض حية للفنون الأدائية التقليدية كالخطوة والسامري والخبيتي، التي تصدح داخل المعرض وفي الساحات والحدائق العامة المحيطة به. كما يضم الجناح شواهد التاريخ من خلال معرض للمخطوطات النادرة يستعرض وثائق تاريخية قيمة، وركناً للمستنسخات التراثية لأبرز القطع الأثرية، إضافة إلى أركان متخصصة للإصدارات السعودية الحديثة، والحرف اليدوية الحية، والآلات الموسيقية والأزياء التقليدية التي تروي قصة الإنسان والمكان. ويصاحب ذلك ركن للأفلام يجسد الحراك السينمائي السعودي المعاصر، يتوّجه المجلس السعودي وركن الضيافة حيث تلتقي روح الأصالة بحفاوة الاستقبال المعهودة. يذكر أن معرض كوالالمبور الدولي للكتاب، الذي انطلق في عام 1981 برعاية وزارة التعليم الماليزية، يُعد أحد أعرق المنصات المعرفية في جنوب شرق آسيا، حيث استطاع على مدى 4 عقود أن يرسّخ مكانته كظاهرة ثقافية كبرى ومنارة رائدة لصناعة النشر العالمي. From the heart of Riyadh to the landmarks of Kuala Lumpur, in a cultural event that reflects the growing cultural impact of Saudi Arabia on the international stage and embodies the depth of human and intellectual connections, the Saudi Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority inaugurated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pavilion as the guest of honor at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair, which opens its doors to knowledge seekers from May 29 to June 7. This exceptional participation aims to build new bridges of human understanding in Asia, based on a rich heritage and promising aspirations shaped by the Kingdom's Vision 2030, presenting to the world a living civilizational model that blends the authenticity of roots with contemporary wings. The opening ceremony of the pavilion witnessed high-level diplomatic and cultural attendance, led by the CEO of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority, Dr. Abdulatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Wasel, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Malaysia, Osama bin Dakhel Al-Ahmadi, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, and the Malaysian Minister of Education, Fadhlina Sidek. In a speech reflecting the dimensions of this achievement, Dr. Abdulatif Al-Wasel affirmed that the selection of the Kingdom as the guest of honor for this prestigious Asian event is nothing but a fruitful outcome of the strong cultural relations between the two countries, and an acknowledgment of the active role the Kingdom has assumed regionally and internationally, noting that this presence represents an exceptional window for the Malaysian and Asian public to learn about the richness and depth of Saudi culture. Al-Wasel also expressed his highest gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, praising his unlimited support for the cultural sectors and his wise directives that have enabled them to shape the features of the contemporary cultural scene. He extended his heartfelt praise to the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Minister of Education for the generosity and warm reception the Saudi delegation received, reflecting the depth of mutual respect between the two peoples. The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority is leading this cultural movement in Kuala Lumpur with a broad national delegation that includes a selection of governmental bodies and entities working together to present a comprehensive Saudi tableau. Participating are the Heritage Authority, the Music Authority, the Film Authority, the Culinary Arts Authority, and the Fashion Authority, alongside prominent national entities including the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da'wah, and Guidance, the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an, the King Fahd National Library, the King Abdulaziz Public Library, the King Salman Global Complex for the Arabic Language, the Ministry of Justice, and Nashir Publishing and Distribution Company, aiming to open a comprehensive knowledge window for the fair's visitors. The Saudi pavilion takes visitors on a complete creative journey woven by the authority through a rich cultural program, featuring deep intellectual seminars and poetic evenings showcasing the voices of a selection of Saudi writers and poets, with traditional performing arts such as the Khutbah, Samri, and Khabiti echoing throughout the exhibition and in the surrounding public squares and gardens. The pavilion also includes historical testimonies through an exhibition of rare manuscripts showcasing valuable historical documents, a corner for heritage replicas of prominent artifacts, in addition to specialized sections for modern Saudi publications, live handicrafts, musical instruments, and traditional clothing that narrate the story of the people and the place. Accompanying this is a film corner that embodies the contemporary Saudi cinematic movement, culminating in the Saudi Council and a hospitality corner where the spirit of authenticity meets the customary warm reception. It is worth noting that the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair, which began in 1981 under the auspices of the Malaysian Ministry of Education, is considered one of the most prestigious knowledge platforms in Southeast Asia, having established its position over four decades as a major cultural phenomenon and a leading beacon for the global publishing industry.
