في مشهد مأساوي هزّ أهالي البدرشين، تحولت رحلة عادية إلى فاجعة إنسانية بعدما لقي أفراد أسرة كاملة وعددهم 7 أشخاص مصرعهم إثر سقوط سيارة داخل مجرى مائي «ترعة المريوطية» بطريق سقارة، وسط محاولات مكثفة من قوات الإنقاذ النهري لانتشال الضحايا والسيارة من المياه. وتلقت الأجهزة الأمنية بمحافظة الجيزة بلاغًا يفيد بسقوط سيارة في ترعة المريوطية بنطاق مركز البدرشين، وعلى الفور انتقلت قوات الحماية المدنية والإنقاذ النهري وسيارات الإسعاف إلى موقع الحادثة، حيث تبين سقوط السيارة بالكامل داخل المياه وغرق مستقليها. وكشفت المعاينات الأولية أن السيارة انحرفت عن مسارها أثناء سيرها بطريق المريوطية اتجاه سقارة، قبل أن تسقط في الترعة، فيما رجحت التحريات المبدئية اختلال عجلة القيادة أو فقدان السائق السيطرة على المركبة، وجارٍ استكمال الفحص الفني للوقوف على الأسباب الدقيقة للحادثة. وتمكنت فرق الإنقاذ النهري من انتشال الضحايا ونقلهم إلى المستشفى تحت تصرف جهات التحقيق، فيما باشرت النيابة العامة التحقيقات لكشف ملابسات الواقعة، وصرحت بانتداب الجهات المختصة لإعداد التقارير الفنية اللازمة. والضحايا هم: جويرية أبو طالب علي 30 سنة ربة منزل، مقيمة بقرية العجيزية في البدرشين، وعلي ممدوح على عطية 42 سنة مقيم بقرية العجيزية، والطفل حذيفة محمد ممدوح 6 شهور، وطلحة محمد ممدوح 9 سنوات، ومريم محمد ممدوح 15 سنة، ومحمد ممدوح علي عطية 35 سنة مقيم بالعجيزية، وعائشة محمد ممدوح 5 سنوات. وتم نقلهم إلى ثلاجة مستشفى البدرشين. وخيمت حالة من الحزن الشديد على أهالي المنطقة عقب انتشار نبأ الحادثة، خصوصاً مع تكرار وقائع سقوط السيارات في ترعة المريوطية خلال الأشهر الأخيرة، وسط مطالبات متجددة بزيادة إجراءات التأمين على الطريق وإنشاء حواجز حماية تمنع انحراف المركبات نحو المياه. وتواصل الجهات المختصة جهودها للوقوف على كافة تفاصيل الحادثة، فيما تم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة وإخطار النيابة العامة لإجراء تحقيقات لكشف ملابسات الحادثة. In a tragic scene that shook the people of Badrashein, an ordinary trip turned into a humanitarian disaster after a whole family of 7 people lost their lives when their car fell into the waterway "Mariot Canal" on the way to Saqqara, amid intensive efforts by the river rescue forces to retrieve the victims and the car from the water. The security authorities in Giza received a report indicating that a car had fallen into the Mariot Canal within the jurisdiction of Badrashein Center. Immediately, civil protection and river rescue forces, along with ambulances, rushed to the scene of the incident, where it was found that the car had completely fallen into the water and its occupants had drowned. Initial examinations revealed that the car veered off its path while traveling on the Mariot Road towards Saqqara before falling into the canal. Preliminary investigations suggested that the steering wheel may have malfunctioned or the driver lost control of the vehicle, and technical inspections are ongoing to determine the exact causes of the incident. The river rescue teams managed to retrieve the victims and transport them to the hospital under the supervision of the investigative authorities, while the public prosecution began investigations to uncover the circumstances of the incident and authorized the relevant authorities to prepare the necessary technical reports. The victims are: Juwairiya Abu Talib Ali, 30 years old, a housewife residing in the village of Al-Ajiziyya in Badrashein; Ali Mamdouh Ali Atiya, 42 years old, residing in the village of Al-Ajiziyya; the child Hudaifa Muhammad Mamdouh, 6 months old; Talha Muhammad Mamdouh, 9 years old; Mariam Muhammad Mamdouh, 15 years old; Muhammad Mamdouh Ali Atiya, 35 years old, residing in Al-Ajiziyya; and Aisha Muhammad Mamdouh, 5 years old. They were transferred to the morgue of Badrashein Hospital. A deep sense of sadness enveloped the residents of the area following the news of the incident, especially with the recurrence of car accidents in the Mariot Canal in recent months, amid renewed calls for increased safety measures on the road and the establishment of protective barriers to prevent vehicles from veering into the water. The relevant authorities continue their efforts to uncover all the details of the incident, while the necessary legal measures have been taken, and the public prosecution has been notified to conduct investigations to reveal the circumstances of the incident.
