أعلنت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية أن الإدارة العامة للمباحث الجنائية وبإسناد من القطاعات الأمنية المعنية ممثلة في قوات الأمن الخاصة وجناح طيران الشرطة تمكنت من إلقاء القبض على النزلاء الهاربين الذين سبق الإعلان عن هروبهم، وذلك بعد عمليات أمنية مكثفة وتحريات دقيقة وملاحقة متواصلة أسفرت عن رصد أماكن وجودهم وضبطهم. وأكدت الوزارة أن عملية الضبط جاءت نتيجة سرعة التحرك الأمني والتنسيق الميداني الفعال بين الجهات المختصة، حيث تم تعقب الهاربين وتحديد مواقعهم وإلقاء القبض عليهم وإعادتهم إلى جهة الاختصاص لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية المتبعة بحقهم. كما أسفرت عملية الضبط عن العثور على عدد (2) سلاح ناري بحوزة الهاربين، الأمر الذي استدعى التعامل مع الموقف وفق الإجراءات الأمنية المتبعة. وشددت الوزارة على أن رجال الأمن سيواصلون أداء واجبهم بكل حزم ويقظة في ملاحقة وضبط كل من يحاول مخالفة القانون أو الإخلال بالأمن والنظام العام، مؤكدة أن أمن المجتمع خط أحمر، وأن يد العدالة ستطال كل من يحاول الهروب من المساءلة القانونية أو تقديم العون للمطلوبين والخارجين على القانون. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced that the General Department of Criminal Investigations, with support from the relevant security sectors represented by the Special Security Forces and the Police Aviation Wing, managed to arrest the escaped inmates who were previously reported to have escaped, following intensive security operations, precise investigations, and continuous pursuit that resulted in locating their whereabouts and apprehending them. The ministry confirmed that the arrest operation was a result of swift security action and effective field coordination among the relevant authorities, as the fugitives were tracked, their locations identified, and they were apprehended and returned to the competent authority to complete the legal procedures against them. The arrest operation also resulted in the discovery of two firearms in the possession of the fugitives, which necessitated handling the situation according to the established security procedures. The ministry emphasized that security personnel will continue to perform their duties with determination and vigilance in pursuing and apprehending anyone who attempts to violate the law or disrupt public security and order, asserting that community safety is a red line, and the hand of justice will reach anyone who tries to evade legal accountability or assist those wanted and outside the law.
