شارك وفد من الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة للجميع، برئاسة المدير التنفيذي للاتحاد شيماء الحصيني، في منتدى الشرق الأوسط للاستثمار الرياضي (MESIF) الذي أُقيم في العاصمة البريطانية لندن خلال الفترة من ٢ إلى ٣ يونيو ٢٠٢٦، بحضور عدد من القيادات العليا والمستثمرين وصنّاع القرار؛ لمناقشة مستقبل الرياضة في المنطقة وخارجها.
واستعرضت المدير التنفيذي -خلال المنتدى- جهود الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة للجميع في تعزيز العلاقات الدولية، في إطار التزام المملكة ببناء منظومة رياضية مجتمعية مستدامة، كما ناقشت مع عدد من المتحدثين دور الابتكار والاستثمار والاستراتيجيات الوطنية في تسريع نمو القطاع الرياضي في الشرق الأوسط.
وشاركت شيماء الحصيني في جلسة حوارية بعنوان «الرياضة القاعدية والمشاركة المجتمعية الواسعة في الشرق الأوسط.. تعزيز الصحة والمجتمع والأثر الاجتماعي»، إلى جانب لاعب كرة القدم المحترف ويليام تروست إيكونغ، لاعب النادي الأهلي، وليزي فلوك، خبيرة في الأداء الرياضي، والدكتور أنس أفنديوغلو، مدير عام في وزارة الشباب والرياضة التركية.
وقالت شيماء الحصيني خلال الجلسة إن المشاركة في منتدى الشرق الأوسط للاستثمار الرياضي أتاحت للاتحاد فرصة مهمة للحوار مع عدد من القيادات الرياضية التي تُسهم في دفع نمو القطاع الرياضي في المنطقة، وأضافت: «المشاركة مكّنتنا من استعراض تجربة الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة للجميع في تطوير برامج مجتمعية تستهدف مختلف الأعمار والخلفيات، وتعزز دور الرياضة في دعم الصحة وجودة الحياة والأثر الاجتماعي».
ويُعَد منتدى الشرق الأوسط للاستثمار الرياضي، الذي استضافه ملعب توتنهام هوتسبير، مؤتمراً ومعرضاً عالمياً يجمع الحكومات الإقليمية والعلامات الرياضية؛ بهدف دعم تطوُّر القطاع الرياضي المتنامي في الشرق الأوسط. وتناولت جلسات المنتدى على مدى يومين عدداً من المحاور الرئيسية، شملت توسيع شراكات القطاع الخاص، وتعزيز التكامل الإقليمي، ودعم الابتكار، وإعادة تعريف الرياضة بوصفها أداة لصناعة الإرث وتعزيز الهوية والدبلوماسية.
وشهد المنتدى في نسخة هذا العام حضور أكثر من 400 مشارك، و20 راعياً، إلى جانب أكثر من 50 قيادياً بارزاً من مختلف مجالات الاستثمار الرياضي، بما يعكس اتساع نطاق المنتدى وتركيزه على الحوكمة، والاستثمار، والبنية التحتية، وتطوير الرياضة القاعدية، وربط قطاع الرياضة في الشرق الأوسط بالشركاء الدوليين ومقدمي الحلول العالمية.
A delegation from the Saudi Federation for Community Sports, headed by the Executive Director of the federation, Shaima Al-Husseini, participated in the Middle East Sports Investment Forum (MESIF) held in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, from June 2 to 3, 2026, with the presence of several senior leaders, investors, and decision-makers to discuss the future of sports in the region and beyond.
The Executive Director reviewed, during the forum, the efforts of the Saudi Federation for Community Sports in enhancing international relations, as part of the Kingdom's commitment to building a sustainable community sports system. She also discussed with several speakers the role of innovation, investment, and national strategies in accelerating the growth of the sports sector in the Middle East.
Shaima Al-Husseini participated in a panel discussion titled "Grassroots Sports and Broad Community Participation in the Middle East... Enhancing Health, Community, and Social Impact," alongside professional football player William Troost-Ekong, a player for Al-Ahli Club, Lizzy Fluke, a sports performance expert, and Dr. Anas Afendioglu, General Director at the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports.
During the session, Shaima Al-Husseini stated that participation in the Middle East Sports Investment Forum provided the federation with an important opportunity to engage in dialogue with several sports leaders contributing to the growth of the sports sector in the region. She added, "The participation enabled us to showcase the experience of the Saudi Federation for Community Sports in developing community programs targeting various ages and backgrounds, and enhancing the role of sports in supporting health, quality of life, and social impact."
The Middle East Sports Investment Forum, hosted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, is a global conference and exhibition that brings together regional governments and sports brands to support the development of the growing sports sector in the Middle East. The forum sessions over two days addressed several key themes, including expanding private sector partnerships, enhancing regional integration, supporting innovation, and redefining sports as a tool for legacy creation, identity enhancement, and diplomacy.
This year's forum witnessed the attendance of over 400 participants, 20 sponsors, in addition to more than 50 prominent leaders from various fields of sports investment, reflecting the forum's expanding scope and its focus on governance, investment, infrastructure, grassroots sports development, and connecting the sports sector in the Middle East with international partners and global solution providers.
