توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد ارتفاع درجات الحرارة العظمى اليوم، بالتزامن مع استمرار فرص هطول أمطار رعدية على أجزاء من مرتفعات مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة.
وأوضح المركز في تقريره اليومي أن الرياح النشطة ستؤثر كذلك على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، إضافة إلى أجزاء من منطقتي المدينة المنورة والحدود الشمالية.
البحر الأحمر.. رياح تصل إلى 45 كيلومتراً في الساعة
وبيّن التقرير أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و35 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وتصل إلى 45 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الشمالي، فيما تكون شمالية غربية إلى غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و32 كيلومتراً في الساعة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف على الجزأين الأوسط والجنوبي، ومن متر إلى مترين على الجزء الشمالي، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج على الوسط والجنوب، ومتوسطة الموج على الجزء الشمالي.
الخليج العربي.. أمواج خفيفة إلى متوسطة
وأشار المركز إلى أن الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي ستكون شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و35 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، فيما تكون شمالية شرقية إلى شرقية على الجزء الجنوبي قبل أن تتحول مساءً إلى غربية ثم جنوبية غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و28 كيلومتراً في الساعة.
وأضاف أن ارتفاع الموج يتراوح بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، ومن نصف متر إلى متر على الجزء الجنوبي، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج شمالاً ووسطاً، وخفيفة الموج جنوباً.
The National Center of Meteorology expects a rise in maximum temperatures today, coinciding with the continued chances of thunderstorms in parts of the mountainous regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah.
The center clarified in its daily report that active winds will also affect parts of those regions, in addition to parts of the Medina and Northern Borders regions.
The Red Sea.. Winds reaching up to 45 kilometers per hour
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at speeds ranging between 15 and 35 kilometers per hour, reaching up to 45 kilometers per hour in the northern part, while it will be northwesterly to westerly in the southern part at speeds ranging between 10 and 32 kilometers per hour.
The wave height will range between half a meter and one and a half meters in the central and southern parts, and from one to two meters in the northern part, while the sea condition will be light to moderate in the middle and south, and moderate in the northern part.
The Arabian Gulf.. Light to moderate waves
The center pointed out that the surface winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging between 15 and 35 kilometers per hour in the northern and central parts, while they will be northeasterly to easterly in the southern part before shifting in the evening to westerly and then southwesterly at speeds ranging between 10 and 28 kilometers per hour.
It added that the wave height will range between half a meter and one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one meter in the southern part, while the sea condition will be light to moderate in the north and center, and light in the south.
