أصدرت محكمة أمن الدولة في الأردن، أمس (الأحد)، حكماً قضائياً باتّاً بالإعدام شنقاً بحق مواطن أُدين بقتل ثلاثة من عناصر إدارة مكافحة المخدرات وإصابة رابع، خلال مداهمة أمنية عنيفة شهدتها منطقة شرق العاصمة عمّان في وقت سابق من هذا العام. العقوبة الأشد لـ 5 جنايات وجاء في منطوق حكم المحكمة إدانة المتهم بخمس جنايات كبرى، تصدرتها جناية الاعتداء الجسدي على موظفين مكلفين بتنفيذ أحكام قانون المخدرات؛ ما أسفر عن سقوط 3 شهداء من رجال الأمن. وقررت المحكمة تطبيق العقوبة الأشد قانوناً وهي الإعدام، ليكون الحكم رادعاً في قضية هزت الأوساط المحلية. وتعود فصول القضية إلى 18 مارس الماضي، حينما نفذت قوة من مكافحة المخدرات مداهمة لبؤرة جرمية، انتهت بمقتل العناصر الثلاثة وإصابة زميلهم، قبل أن تتمكن مديرية الأمن العام من السيطرة على الموقف، واعتقال الجاني متلبساً بحيازة أسلحة نارية وكميات من المواد المخدرة. ويأتي هذا الحكم القضائي الصارم في وقت تخوض المملكة الأردنية مواجهة مفتوحة ومعقدة ضد شبكات تهريب وتجارة المخدرات. وتشير الإحصاءات الرسمية إلى عمق الأزمة، إذ تضبط السلطات كميات ضخمة بشكل دوري، مؤكدة أن 85% من المواد المخدرة المضبوطة تكون مُعَدّة ومهيأة للتهريب إلى خارج الحدود. The State Security Court in Jordan issued a final ruling yesterday (Sunday) sentencing a citizen to death by hanging for the murder of three members of the Anti-Narcotics Department and injuring a fourth during a violent security raid that took place in the eastern part of the capital, Amman, earlier this year. The Harshest Penalty for 5 Major Crimes The court's ruling found the defendant guilty of five major crimes, the most serious of which was the physical assault on employees tasked with enforcing drug laws, resulting in the deaths of three security personnel. The court decided to impose the harshest penalty under the law, which is death, making the ruling a deterrent in a case that has shaken local communities. The events of the case date back to March 18 of this year, when a force from the Anti-Narcotics Department conducted a raid on a criminal hotspot, which ended with the deaths of the three officers and the injury of their colleague, before the Public Security Directorate was able to control the situation and arrest the perpetrator in possession of firearms and quantities of narcotic substances. This strict judicial ruling comes at a time when the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is engaged in an open and complex battle against drug trafficking and smuggling networks. Official statistics indicate the depth of the crisis, as authorities regularly seize large quantities, confirming that 85% of the seized narcotic substances are prepared and ready for smuggling across borders.
