أكد رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية اليمني الدكتور شائع الزنداني أن الدعم الذي تقدمه المملكة العربية السعودية لليمن في شتى ومختلف المجالات وراء تحسن الخدمات وآخرها منحة المشتقات النفطية الجديدة بـ150 مليون دولار المخصصة لتشغيل محطات الكهرباء. وشدد الزنداني خلال لقائه رئيس بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي لدى اليمن السفير باتريك سيمونيه على أهمية الشراكة مع الاتحاد الأوروبي وحرص الحكومة اليمنية على تعزيز التعاون خلال المرحلة القادمة، وتوسيع برامج الدعم التنموي والاستثماري، والبناء على المبادرات الدولية الهادفة إلى دعم الاقتصاد اليمني، بما يسهم في تعزيز قدرات مؤسسات الدولة على الوفاء بالتزاماتها. وثمن رئيس الوزراء مواقف الاتحاد والشركاء الدوليين الداعمة لخطط الإصلاح الاقتصادي والمؤسسي التي تنفذها حكومته لتعزيز الاستقرار وتطوير أداء مؤسسات الدولة، وتعزيز مسارات التنمية المستدامة. وبحث الزنداني مع سيمونيه آفاق تعزيز الشراكة القائمة بين اليمن والاتحاد الأوروبي وفرص توسيع برامج التمويل التنموي، ودعم جهود الحكومة في تنفيذ برنامج الإصلاحات الشاملة والبناء المؤسسي، وتحسين الخدمات الأساسية. وتناول اللقاء التطورات السياسية والأمنية على الساحة الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية. The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Yemen, Dr. Sha'if Al-Zandani, confirmed that the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen in various fields is behind the improvement of services, the latest of which is the new oil derivatives grant of $150 million allocated for operating electricity stations. Al-Zandani emphasized during his meeting with the Head of the European Union Mission to Yemen, Ambassador Patrick Simonnet, the importance of the partnership with the European Union and the Yemeni government's commitment to enhancing cooperation in the upcoming phase, expanding development and investment support programs, and building on international initiatives aimed at supporting the Yemeni economy, which contributes to strengthening the capabilities of state institutions to meet their obligations. The Prime Minister appreciated the positions of the Union and international partners supporting the economic and institutional reform plans implemented by his government to enhance stability, improve the performance of state institutions, and promote sustainable development pathways. Al-Zandani discussed with Simonnet the prospects for strengthening the existing partnership between Yemen and the European Union and opportunities to expand development financing programs, support the government's efforts in implementing the comprehensive reform program and institutional building, and improve basic services. The meeting also addressed the political and security developments on the national, regional, and international levels.
