The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Kharif, held two bilateral meetings in the Kazakh capital, Astana, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, Jaslan Madiyev, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yermek Kosherbayev, in the presence of the Deputy Minister for Mining Affairs, Engineer Khalid Saleh Al-Mudaifer. The discussions focused on ways to enhance economic relations and expand investment partnerships between the two countries. The talks addressed opportunities for exchanging expertise in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and stimulating innovation to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the industrial and mining sectors. Al-Kharif reviewed the Kingdom's efforts in developing digital infrastructure that supports advanced technologies, and both sides discussed mechanisms to facilitate the access of Saudi exports to Kazakh markets, thereby enhancing joint economic development.
