أكد مدافع المنتخب الإسباني باو كوبارسي جاهزية منتخب بلاده لمواجهة المنتخب السعودي مساء غدٍ (الأحد)، على ملعب مرسيدس بنز في أتلانتا، ضمن الجولة الثانية من منافسات كأس العالم 2026، مشيراً إلى أن اللاعبين يتطلعون لتقديم مستوى أفضل وتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية بعد التعادل في المباراة الأولى.
وأوضح كوبارسي خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد اليوم، أن المنتخب الإسباني لا يزال يثق بقدراته رغم عدم ظهوره بالشكل المأمول في اللقاء الافتتاحي، مؤكداً أن المجموعة تركز بشكل كامل على مواجهة السعودية.
وقال: «شعرنا ببعض الإحباط بسبب نتيجة المباراة الأولى، لكننا مقتنعون بقدرتنا على تغيير الأمور ونركز على أنفسنا ونعمل على تصحيح الأخطاء استعداداً للمباراة القادمة».
وأضاف: «لم نقدم الأداء الذي نطمح إليه في اللقاء السابق، لكننا ندخل مواجهة السعودية بطاقة كبيرة ورغبة في التقدم خطوة جديدة في البطولة».
