ودّع المنتخب الأردني منافسات كأس العالم 2026، ليصبح ثالث المنتخبات العربية المغادرة للبطولة بعد تونس والعراق، عقب خسارته أمام المنتخب الجزائري بنتيجة 2-1 في قمة عربية مثيرة ضمن منافسات المجموعة العاشرة.

واستمرت محاولات «محاربي الصحراء» حتى نجح أمين جويري في تسجيل هدف الفوز القاتل عند الدقيقة 82، مانحًا الجزائر ثلاث نقاط ثمينة وبطاقة التأهل، فيما تأكد خروج المنتخب الأردني رسميًا من البطولة.
وشهدت المباراة تنافسًا كبيرًا بين المنتخبين العربيين، إلا أن الخبرة والفعالية الهجومية رجّحت كفة الجزائر في الدقائق الأخيرة، لتحسم المواجهة لصالحها.
