انضم منتخب مصر لقائمة المنتخبات العربية التي ذاقت طعم اﻻنتصار في تاريخ كأس العالم بعد فوزه على نيوزيلندا، فيما عجز منتخب اﻷردن عن المحافظة على تقدمه على الجزائر ليخسر المواجهة، وكان المغرب قد تفوق على أسكتلندا. وبهذه النتائج الثلاث ارتفعت حصيلة اﻻنتصارات العربية في كأس العالم إلى 18 انتصارا، ويتصدر منتخب المغرب قائمة أكثر المنتخبات العربية انتصاراً بواقع 6 انتصارات جاءت 3 منها في مونديال قطر 2022 والتي حقق فيها المغرب المركز الرابع كأفضل إنجاز عربي. وحل منتخبنا الوطني السعودي ثانياً بتحقيقه 4 انتصارات أهمها اﻻنتصار اﻷخير في قطر 2022 على المنتخب اﻷرجنتيني، وتساوى معه منتخب الجزائر بعد فوزه اﻷخير على اﻷردن، فيما جاء منتخب تونس ثالثاً بتحقيق 3 انتصارات وهو الذي سجل أول فوز عربي على حساب منتخب المكسيك بهدف دون مقابل وذلك عام 1978، فيما جاء منتخب مصر رابعاً بتحقيقه أول انتصار له في المونديال الحالي وهو الذي دشن الظهور العربي في تاريخ بطوﻻت كأس العالم عام 1934، فيما عجزت منتخبات قطر واﻹمارات والكويت والعراق واﻷردن عن تحقيق الفوز في المونديال. ترتيب المنتخبات العربية اﻷكثر انتصاراً في تاريخ كأس العالم: المغرب 6 السعودية 4 الجزائر 4 تونس 3 مصر 1 The Egyptian national team joined the list of Arab teams that have tasted victory in the history of the World Cup after defeating New Zealand, while the Jordanian team failed to maintain its lead over Algeria and lost the match.
